  1. any better details shots of that front end? specifically the grille area, quite unique. x2 !!!
  2. I understand, I had a similar setup on my '16. I had a spot 32" bar behind the grille. My only grievance was that it does not utilize the bars light potential, and blocks ~30% light, or more, behind the grille. Just something to consider. The functionality for me, is more important - i think that coupled with a nice looking bar, can be achieved. You just have to pay.
  3. Find anything on this after? id like to place a curved light bar on the outside of the grill, but hide the mounting hardware behind it. considering bending some aluminum to make it work. id like to couple that with a set of good hinge/a-pillar mounted cubes.
  4. Have you towed with it yet? I've heard a few complaints about sagging and weight distribution on the T1s
  5. quality job done there! Nice choice How does the material feel, think it'll last?
  6. how rough are your winters? stay with a narrow tire for the winter - maybe a 275/70/18 or similar
  7. you experience this noise on new vehicles? or only ones where there is bare metal on metal?
  8. APS replied to me, I guess the product is new and they dont have much instruction developed yet. But they said they have a video in the works, of an install. And that it is very straight forward, almost self explanatory. - remove hood hinge nuts - place in bracket on studs - replace nuts
  9. this is completely stock. Sorry, I didn't see you're comment until now.
  10. nothing you would notice unless you literally put them side by side. I think the 295s are a good choice. I'm trying to find somewhere local to source them for me in the mastercrafts as well.
  11. yeas, for clearance purposes, that almost 3/4" difference is critical on stock suspension
  12. technically yes, but every manufacturer is different - not one manufacture is the same. The company states the real life size on their sites. for the 305/70/18 it's 34.96 x 12.5 actual size, which is bigger than most other manufacturers claimed "35x12.5" actual size.
  13. Definitely a lot of work to do the tailgate letters, you're right. Post it up when you get it done, either way.
  14. For the tailgate, you can order vinyls or get it done somewhere for ~ $40-50. It will last longer, and some out better for that application. I would be concerned about longevity of plastidip on those areas.
  15. I've found a cheaper alternative (by 50%). I've reached out to them to send along installation instructions, I'll share them when I get em. https://aps-offroad.com/collections/mounting-brackets/products/2019-chevy-silverado-1500-hood-hinge-led-light-mounts-mounts-only
  16. I can't justify $150usd for 2 pieces of bent metal. This is pure robbery.
  17. that is nearly identical to the 295/70/18 so I would assume yes, no issues. the key here is that everyone realizes this is on stock wheels+offset.
  18. Yes it has been done, it requires a re-flash of the ecu, around $100 from the dealer. Which is stated in the link you provided. You will have to factor that into your cost consideration. more info here:
  19. They either don’t want it to last, under estimate the corrosiveness of some climates, or expect the steel to withstand corrosion and still hold its integrity. We shouldn’t accept any of the excuses. I plan to manage it myself unfortunately
  20. The truck looks great. I think it doesn't look as big as it actually is, because of the side steps. They tend to fill in a large gap you'd see under the door - without them the truck would look huge (for stock) IMO.
  21. Mike, absolutely no rubbing, in any conditions with the 295/70/18? Not over bumps/wheels cut or in reverse? and just to confirm you're completely stock, crew cab with short or std bed? I went back through the pics and it looks to be the perfect size for these trucks. 295/70/18 fills the wheel well without being a huge tire that kills power and adds too much unsprung weight.
  22. I really regret not going white or possibly pearl. Beauty truck
  23. the function of the liners is not to prevent rust, or to hide it though. But I understand where your coming from. The chassis issue is another totally separate ball of $hit. Good to hear that there is no noise out of the husky liners, and it's not as "plastic-y" as you'd think.
  24. I'm doing some research (slow day at work) and I honestly think the mastercrafts are one of the lightest MT tires out. There are very few aggressive tires in a 295/70/18 less than 65lbs. Just have to find a local vendor now.
