  1. Here's mine. The first two pics are at the dealer's back lot right after it was unloaded off the transport.
  2. Could you let me know the difference when you find out? I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks!! Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  3. How many miles do you have on your truck? I'm getting mine tuned as soon I get some miles on it. Right now I have 823 miles on mine. Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  4. Thanks!! Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  5. A rubber tailgate mat will speed it up quite a bit. Ask me how I know:). Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  6. Me too. I have a true dual Flowmaster exhaust system on mine and unless I'm paying attention I hardly notice when it changes. Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  7. I wonder if this would fit our 6.2L trucks? It came off a 2013 Camaro.
  8. A local shop here in Broken Arrow, OK called Ralson's Muffler Shop. The kid that owns it is a wizard at pipe bending.
  9. Here's where I got the blocks: http://www.speedwaymotors.com Just do search for lowering blocks. Look for the extruded aluminum ones. Yes I did it myself and yes I reused the stock u-bolts. It was pretty simple to do looking back on it. If I had to do it again it would REALLY be a piece of cake. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me. Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  10. I have absolutely no problem with ANYTHING. And why would I want to cut the bump stops off? My truck rides perfectly. I can't figure that one out. This is not the first truck that I've lowered and have never had any problem with rubbing, squeaking, etc. Thanks for the info but, as Brent said, we both are happy with the way out trucks came out so why mess with success?
  11. Sorry that I have a personal opinion. My mistake. Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  12. Mine seems fine but I'd like to know what you find out about the shocks. Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  13. I didn't notice it being too close. Maybe it's just an optical illusion. I drove it quite a bit after I got done and it rode just like it always did. We have "speed humps" in our neighborhood and didn't notice a bit of difference in negotiating those stupid things. It rides like it did the day I picked it up from the dealer. I just couldn't be happier. Thanks Brent!!!!!
  14. WHOOPS!!! I did this twice because I couldn't find the first one . DUHHHHHH!!
  15. No. I also have the 2" shackles but it was still about ¾" too high in the rear. Thanks to brentadams646 I found out about the blocks. I replaced the factory 1¼" with a ½" block and that made up the difference. Now it's perfect!
  16. No. I got 2" shackles too but it was still about ¾" too high in the rear so I removed the factory block that was approximately 1¼" and replaced it with a ½" block to make up the difference. Now it's PERFECT!!!
  17. Here's one I forgot .
  18. I got tired of jacking around with waiting for somebody to do my lowering blocks so I just did it myself today. Turned out GREAT. I'm attaching some pics for you below. The only thing I forgot to get for you was the front measurement but after looking at the pics you'll see it's PERFECT!! I'll be looking for pics of yours tomorrow!! This is the rear measurement.
  19. If I had LED DLRs this thread would be moot. However I don't and I don't like driving around looking like a geezer who turned on his headlights on by mistake. ;) Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  20. what is purple slice? It's a detailing spray that I use on my Harley. It's good stuff. Look it up at purpleslice.com Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  21. I meant 1.25...DUHHHH . Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  22. Did the lowering shackles and it's still 3/4" higher in the back. A Forum member suggested that I replace the stock spring block, which is 2.25" thick, with one that's 1/2" thick. That should take care of that. I ordered them yesterday so maybe I can get them on this week. It sucks to be anal:). Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  23. Lucky you!! Let me know if you ever find out why they don't come on and maybe I can duplicate the "problem" Tapatalk via iPhone 5s
  24. Thanks!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. I added it. I got them on eBay. Yes it's the one for the 5.3L. I read where they had no plans to make seperate one for the 6.2L. Honestly, after installing this one, I don't know what they could do differently for the 6.2L. Someone on here mentioned that it was a little hard to slide the air tube over the snout on the fuel injection unit but it wasn't that difficult when it was all said and done.
