Good morning all!, I wish I had good news for everyone, but unfortunately I don't. I have taken the truck to the dealership 7 or 8 times already and it seems that this is not going away. They have thrown bogus repairs to address the problem but nothing is sticking. Yesterday I got a call from the repair manager and someone that identified himself as the district representative or something along those lines and they said that they could not replicate the problem and that it was up to me to show them the issue and that they did not knew of any other owners having the same issue. I was kind of disappointed with the statement and upset at the same time, because the noises as many of you are experiencing are usually directly associated with the weather conditions, so my answer to them was if they wanted me to order or replicate the weather as well so they can fix my issue and that like me there were several others with "professional grade" issues. The most recent recall has been done on my truck and it has been at the dealership for a week I will pick it up today and have some discussions with the dealership to figure out what is the next steps. This situation is exhausting and its costing me money every time I have to leave the truck with them. I will post if there is anything positive after I talk with them. Good luck to all!

Update... Took my truck today for the third time and had the service manager and two other techs ride with me. Fortunately (situational wise) they were able to hear the noise more than once, to what they stated could be a rear drive/line issue. Basically it could be anything. While I'm glad they could hear the problem and are/will work on fixing it, I'm frustrated that it has taken this long. I will post another update as soon as I have one.

Ok... I picked up my truck today after being at the dealership for a full almost a week. The outcome still the same, unable to replicate. This is the second time I have had my truck at the dealer to find out the problem. I have pointed out that the shocks seemed to have been the culprit for most of the owners on this forum, but can't fix what they can't replicate is the answer. This is frustrating, because as an owner we are the ones holding the bag with these issues. I guess I will continue to take the truck back each time the problem occurs. **Revision If anyone has had their shocks replaced and this took care of your problem please send me a message with your dealer's service department information so I can have mine get in touch with them and get this taken care of. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Got a call from the Maintenance department at the dealership. They were not able to duplicate the problem until this morning, but are baffled on what's causing it... It's been 4 days now since I dropped off the truck. Not impressed. Will let ya'll know what comes out of this, hopefully in the near future.

Hello all, I'm having the same issue. The noise is usually in the mornings and seems to be coming from the back of the truck when in motion at low speed from a cold start. The noise goes away after a while, but the noise is a complete sore and the truck has only 3000 miles. I have taken the truck to the dealership and had one of their techs ride with me, but the noise can't be replicated. Needless to say it is very frustrating, specially on a brand new truck that cost that much money. I will be checking my shocks in the morning and visiting the dealership. Hopefully they can do something with the information about the shocks and take care of it. I like the truck, its my second GMC Sierra, but I'm extremely disappointed that I'm having to go through this on a new vehicle.
