  1. Will do! I'm still learning the higher temp materials like the ones that would be needed for this project, between that, starting a new job, and recently purchasing a new to me motorcycle the truck has been tossed to the back burner. I will keep this updated as I build the panel though! I have a few locations in mind for it to go and a few designs made up. Just gotta get around to printing the prototypes and test fitting them
  2. Alrighty guys so I know when these trucks were still the newest ones I came across a guy who made some extended 3D printed caps for the headlights on these trucks (intended for use with LED headlights with big fans on the back) but I wanna know if anyone else has used a 3D printer of their own or has purchased 3D printed parts for their vehicles. I’m about to start printing a custom switch panel for the center console Share some pics or comments, even the STL files if you think others might like them. I’ve seen a few GMC/Chevy related parts on thingiverse.com but not much specific to these trucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. to anyone who looks at my older posts that reference a picture or if there is a broken photo link I apologize, Photobucket used to allow you to upload 1000 pictures with their free memberships but now only allow 250, I was at 500+ so I am having to delete many of them from my account so that the useful pictures from mod installs can be visible again.  If there's anything I've deleted that you'd like to access then just PM me and I can send them

  4. Don’t forget to always post pictures and a how to on what you did to help others who may want to do the same Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Dropped it off at the shop today. Has been getting neglected for a few weeks, getting an oil change and a new radiator since the OEM started leaking. Also need a new alternator since there’s a bearing going out in it and won’t produce as much power. Anyone done an upgraded alternator? Wondering how much it would cost to upgrade from th stock 150 to like 200 or so amps since I want a second battery for camping Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks man! Can’t wait to get the parts I’ve been saving for and designing over the last few months. Gonna include a removable very light duty hitch mount for the front end, adjustable height bedrack, and a trident style flag pole mount for the rear hitch so I can have my flags on all the time! Even if I have to go into a garage that’s barely y’all enough for the truck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ended up ordering a set of LED headlights this weekend. I never used to have issues with my morimoto HIDs but lately they have had different components failing left and right. Hopefully the LEDs will work out also soon to start ordering materials to build my adjustable bed rack. Cant wait to have that thing built!!
  8. Much appreciated! I've been away more than not lately
  9. Red pulls out the needles in the gauges but that't it. I say the blue looks better. Looks more factory can you share a link to the EL wire you got and can you share how you put it in?
  10. I must know if that is LED wire or if its just reflective tape on your door. Either way, I want it Looks like LED since its reflecting light up on the dash
  11. anybody try this on a 14' yet?
  12. finally received and installed my 12.5Klbs winch with synthetic rope
  13. just something to look at before anyone comments on the racer being on jack stands while on the trailer, the car was in the local parade which started and ended near the garage where it is kept and never traveled over 5mph. We are a new team at my college and wanted to show off the car as much as we could since we couldn't drive it in the parade
  14. Anyone know if this would work on a 14? [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Finally made a decision on which off-road bumper to go with a few weeks ago during a huge sale from Road Armor and decided to go with their brand new Sahara model with winch plate. I think my favorite part of this bumper is that they rate it for 12K lb winches for our trucks and declare the shackle mounts as tow points. Only company I've talked to that actually declares that shackle mounts as useful tow points. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. I'll post better pictures soon. Hopefully will be able to order a 12.5K Tuff Stuff winch soon if they ever come back in stock
  16. Just sent in the paperwork to finalize my Road Armor bumper order. Ordered a Sahara Bumper with winch cut out! They are on sale for $899 right now if anyone else is interested in them, just have to call in and ask for Pete and tell him that your buddy Mike sent ya
  17. can you post a sound clip by chance of how it currently sounds?
  18. Has anyone tried the Undercover Ridgelander yet? Looks like a pretty versatile cover, especially for those who camp
  19. I don't like you at all. I wish I was out west where it was more open and I could justify building a prerunner. I love your truck [emoji7] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yes RCX 6" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I've been lurking for too long now. But just got back from my New Years camping trip. Woke up one morning and saw the GM-trucks sticker was reflecting a shadow that was awesome Also just cause no one has seen her in so long Got the Firestone Destination MTs. Slightly larger than my Mickey Thompson's but grip extremely well especially for the cost. Found them with 2500 miles on them for $700 and had to jump on the deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Pretty good price but I'd try tossing it on eBay but set a reserve. At 32.5. If it isn't met then go to the dealer. Also, should've sold me that hood [emoji849] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. What button did you use for the radar detector? There's not much room behind that panel! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Very cool idea!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. not really sure if you can put a flush mount in there. Aside from not being able to sit right, If I remember correctly, the bedside panels have a curve behind there that you'd hit/have to cut. Another option would be adding the lights under the bumper. Thats how I have mine and like it better than flush mounts in the OEM bumper so theres no cutting. I pulled the screw that was used to hold the bumper step in place at the bottom and replaced it with the bolt and nut that come from Rigid Industries. They are holding extremely tight and can even loosen them to turn them if I choose.
