  1. Oh okay. I thought I remembered watching a video about the BDS kits and they claimed that it didn't push the front wheels out any. Must've been another company I saw the video about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Is your front wheel sticking out further than the rear? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. If you have a silvy just retro a new projector into there. From the results I've seen on here and outside of this forum, you'd be happier with the new projector and HIDs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Got any pictures from a bit further out? Such as it shows more of the seat? You have me wanting to do this now just cause I also have a black interior. Looks great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It is located between the battery terminal connection and the relay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The two dealers I deal with are very different. One holds very strong to not wanting to deal with any truck outside of the maintenance warranty if you have a any combination of lift components (whether it be body and/or suspension) that brings your truck a total of 4" higher. They blame any break on the lift or if you drop the truck. "Oh sir, the reason why your headlight went out is clearly because you lifted your truck 5" and put on bigger tires. The bulbs are just not meant to be at that height" While the other dealer lets you do YOUR truck the way YOU WANT because it's YOUR truck and you are the reason why they are getting business. You can drop, raise, hell, you could strap wings on it. They still warranty any GM part. Moral of the story is, you gotta find a good dealer. One that is realistic and wants the customer to be happy on the road and at the dealership. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Just won a 24" light bar on eBay. Rated at 12,000 lumens. Combo beam. Will go onto my bull bar as soon as i get the chance. Will post up some picture when it comes in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. You don't think you can only post one pic of the Sierra tail light! Post more! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I need some input/opinions. I'm currently looking for a good, but cheap 20" LED light bar. I've started to think however, how much of a difference is there between a curved and straight bar? Now I know that since it's only about 20" (or I'll probably get a 24" actually), there won't be a whole lot of curve, but at 100ft away it's gotta make a difference. So would it be worth it to spend just a few extra dollars to get a curved bar? If anyone has any experience or information on which would be better and what makes it better, let me know! I'm curious. Never really dealt with a light bar before outside of a cheap 13" bar on my old yukon that added some efficiency to flashing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. How many miles you got on the truck? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. EPA sticker on mine said 21 hwy. but I've seen 22-23 cruising between 70-75MPH (not drafting btw, but when I do I get 25MPG). City I can get 16MPG if I play it easy. I've got right around 4600 miles on the truck. CCSB 4x4 with factory wrangler street tires. 275/55/20 5.3L with 3.42 gears. Mine used to get around 18-19 mpg hwy. when I bought the truck I got 15-17 on the hwy drive home. But mileage seems to be getting better with more miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm curious to see what responses you get and what your findings are. I've never seen anyone mount a 50" anywhere but ontop of the roof. I mean, I guess you could always put it above the tailgate and hook it to a dash switch. That would definitly teach those tailgaters a lesson and make backing up with 2.5% tinted windows much easier [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Not sure how yours was so low. Did you keep the tires properly inflated and all the other jazz that they say is necessary for good mileage? My 5.3 3.42 4x4 CCSB has had great mileage. My lifetime is 16 mpg. With about 85% of that being city and 15% highway. And about 20% of my overall has been with a lead foot cause it's nice to hear the exhaust! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. If you do not feel that your tow hooks are absolutly necessary and wouldn't mind taking them out, I would put some light pods in that placement. And you could put a single row 20" in the bumper like Moto did. For this set up you could get a bar that is purely a flood or purely a spot light and the pods could be the opposite of the bar. Or you could get a bull bar and get a curved 20" bar. They have better side to side lighting than a straight bar Just some things I thought of right away when I saw your post. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk EDIT: I also would try to stick to stronger lights whichever route you end up taking. Once you have them in you may feel that you got lights that are too dim. But, I've never heard of someone complaining about a light bar being too bright, you know, except for the guy who tried to stare at the bar while it's on
  15. Oh. I think it should still work. How much smaller are they? And I just realized I didn't post the link to the thread For anyone else interested in seeing, here's the link: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/161204-Brush-Guards-and-Bull-Bars Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Check out post #14. Block8head had already done it to his bull bar Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. You could relocate sensors and fill in the holes in bumper or you could get another set and disconnect the sensors that are in bumper. Run wires to sensors that are in the bar. That's what I'm doing this weekend hopefully Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I've already seen from the inside out of a 35% so I'm a bit more interested in seeing the 15% and 5% windows if possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Can you post picture looking out front and rears during the day? I know night pictures probably won't come out well. I'm thinking of setting mine up the same. 35% front, 15% back, and either 5% or 10% rear Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Found some old sunshades in the garage. Bought these a while back as a joke, decided I'll use them until I get some tint. I don't think they look too bad haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I would keep the stockers. Look much better IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Just got back from a road trip. Despite having a level kit my truck still gets incredible mileage. I have some miles on the truck now, just under 4300 miles to give an idea. I averaged 22 MPG on the away leg traveling between 70-75 mph. On the way home, I was ready to get home haha. On the return leg, I averaged 80-85 mph with an average of 19.8MPG on DIC. On the return leg I too a detour which consisted of about 30 miles of 55mph roads with stop lights. Who decided putting a stoplight/sign on a 55MPH 2 lane road, idk, but I don't agree with them haha. On the away leg I had regular, unleaded. I'll check exactly what it is next time I'm at the local pump. On the return trip, I had premium in there. DAMN did that make it more fun. It made the truck sound a bit louder, like it was happier to have the nicer stuff in there haha. And also it got better mileage than usual. Usually for the same trip I use regular going both away and return but I decided for premium for whatever reason this time. I usually avg about 17MPG on the return trip, with the away trip being the same as earlier mentioned, 21-22 MPG. No winds that day. If anything I had a wind pushing against me/at my side trying to run me off the road. No tailgating/drafting. I just flew around traffic at 80-85 mph and got better mileage than usual. Just thought I would share! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Are you still trying to post from your computer or on your phone? Just curious Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I must agree. No more warranty. When you do anything to change how a certain part came from the factory. It's not always easy to get the warranty to be honored. Even if you put a genuine GM part. It's still a GM part, but it's not really where that part was intended to go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
