  1. Ooops, double post.
  2. I have the Fold-A-Cover tonneau. I suspect once I get the first two in, I'll want two more...
  3. My kit is going in today! (factory kit). I may add two more up in front of the bed as Prdtrgttr did if I want more light once the first set is in.
  4. Installed mine today, works great! Took me about an hour to install, but I'm slow and very detail-oriented. Cut out, spliced and shrink wrapped the excess cable, carefully routed things, it was helpful to drop the spare tire to get access to route and secure the cable here (Plus I got to try the spare tire mechanism for this first time, good practice if I ever get a flat). I did use the supplied alligator jumper connectors, but they are pretty bulky and tough to fit the hinged cover back on with them in place. I like the post above with it soldered, I may go back and do it this way later.
  5. Yeah something to consider. Amazon is $79 and free 2 day shipping (I'm a Prime member) while direct from Pop and Lock will cost me $115 ($99 + $15 shipping). It's only a 1 year warranty so may be worth the small risk to save 1/3 the Pop and Lock price....
  6. Yes this backup camera on the '14 Silverado is much Lower resolution than the last two cars I have owned which had backup cameras (neither were Chevy's). For the most part it seems to work and I can see, but the biggest problem w/ the low resolution is that once it gets even a little dirty you are totally blind. At least on the higher res cameras I've had when they get dirty you can still make out stuff in the screen. That said, the Silverado's camera seems to do better backing up into the sun than my other two cars.
  7. Found on Amazon for $79. All other placed I have found this kit are aroung $105-115. Anyone find a better price?
