  4. Vibration

I have been experiencing a vibration that comes and goes once I accelerate to highway speeds 60 to 75. I slow down once I reach 75 to 65. I drive on the left or right lane to no avail. I replaced my wheels with similar gm specs. Had my truck realigned tires rebalance numerous times. But the dealership can never replicate the problem. It did it with the previous wheels and it still does it with the new ones. One of the guys on this forum had his service advisor look into this and found out that he needed some shims. Another had the same problem and his service advisor ordered a driveshaft. There are several TSB's on this problem but I can't seem to get anything done. We drive this vehicles every day and I know that a little vibration is normal but when it shakes your whole truck, there's a problem. This is not an everyday occurrence there are many days the truck drives ok, but when it gets out of sync, oh boy that's another way of describing it when everything is in sync I love driving my truck but when if gets out of dync. I just want to burn it down. I am not trying to get anyone in trouble but believe what your customers tell you. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All of this was done last year, I just gave up.
  5. I have the same problem with my 2016 CC short box. Last time I took it to the dealer they drove it and of course they couldn't find anything wrong. Gm rep some help.
  6. Which cover are you entering to win? 14-ON Chevy/GMC Full Size 1500 5’ 8” Box 2. Tell us why the LOMAX cover is perfect for your truck? Firstable it’s low profile, second it’s durable, 3rd it’s lightweight, and 4th it’s secure. 3. What features are most important to you when buying a tonneau cover, why? The most important to me is that is made here in the USA and that keeps our people employed . A tonneau cover be solid so it can provide great security and deter people from stealing. It should be water-tight to keep your items dry. And it should be made from durable and also quality materials that ensure durability and functionality. 4. Do you have a tonneau cover on your truck? If so, which cover is it? Why are you looking for a change? Yes, I have a soft cover. I want to change to a low-profile, hard top cover that looks good , provide security, and handle rough use. 5. What do you use your truck for? It’s my everyday driver, so I use it to get to work, as a deputy sheriff and to carry my equipment.
  7. Vibration

I have a 2016 Sierra 5.3l Texas Edition and I have been experiencing a vibration that comes and goes. Also when I apply the brakes and am about to come to a stop it's like I just drove over a bumpy road, I feel this on the steering wheel also. I have taken it to 2 different dealers and they both say that it was out of alignment and the wheels need balancing. Well I had the wheels and tires rebalanced and my truck realigned on my local Firestone and it still does it. There's a huge forum on this subject and short of me spending my money on checking the driveshaft I don't know what else to do. Does it have to come to this, why doesn't a dealer takes it upon themselves to do this check. There's something that can be done. I have been loyal to the brand so far, is my faith placed in the wrong place? Is there a way that someone can tell the dealership to check the driveshaft or joint.? What about the brakes, not because they test drive it one time it doesn't mean that it's not there.
  8. I have a 2016 Gmc Sierra CC and I noticed the paint chipping on the B pillar of my truck. Has anyone noticed this issue on their truck? It's kinda hard to see but it is on the door space from front to back edge .
  9. Tell us the secret to that perfect shine.
  10. Vinyl wrapped front emblem

You are absolutely correct, they are awesome and as you demonstrated you get what time you put into it. The more time you spend, the best application is achieved.
  11. Vinyl wrapped front emblem

I personally like the ones that this company sells DeVriesSigns. I have the non domed ones on my 2016 sierra and they still look like new condition.
  12. Absolutely no tire rub and no cutting whatsoever.
  13. I had Versante wheels with a 25mm offset before with the same tires and didn't have any rubbing issues.
  14. None whatsoever. Didn't have to make any modifications.
