After telling my service advisor on several occasions that I felt this vibration when braking nothing was done. The we can't duplicate answer that they always tell you was irritating. I took it upon myself to find out what the problem was, and I am glad I did. This was how one of the pads and rotor looked like. I only have 24000 miles on my 2016 sierra .
Used Firestone truck kept shaking. Went to Brake Check and they showed me how bad Firestone had misaligned my truck. They also made me aware of some tire cupping as a result of the bad work Firestone did. After Brake Check my truck drives a lot better.
I am using yokohama 305/45r22 118v with no rubbing issues.
I have been experiencing a vibration that comes and goes once I accelerate to highway speeds 60 to 75. I slow down once I reach 75 to 65. I drive on the left or right lane to no avail. I replaced my wheels with similar gm specs. Had my truck realigned tires rebalance numerous times. But the dealership can never replicate the problem. It did it with the previous wheels and it still does it with the new ones. One of the guys on this forum had his service advisor look into this and found out that he needed some shims. Another had the same problem and his service advisor order
