  1. For the guys with reflector housings, a quality pair of OEM projectors are too hard to find, especially if we’re talking about color-matched.
  2. Bumping with pictures I found on IG. Post pictures of your truck if you have these headlights!
  3. Seemed a little weird when I realized that all 4 lights are always on, and the bottom aren't the (dedicated) high-beams. But they look great on your truck! The only reason I want these is because I have LED bulbs in stock housings and despite being adjusted all the way down, they still shine light way too high. I was hoping these would have a sharp cut-off line. Also the black bezel option is a huge plus.
  4. Not much talk about these right now. Has anyone scooped these up? I don't know if they've even started shipping out yet, but I figured I'd ask. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtO0cfwkymE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cKLsH-N35w
  5. Can you post a picture of the position of the top spring seat? I’m curious how far down it is spun to gain 1-3/8” of height on the truck. I’m guessing there are about 1/2” of thread showing at the top? edit: I can just barely see it in your top pic. Looks like it’s spun roughly 3/4” down on the shock body
  6. Very nice. Waiting for my Kings to be delivered. How much lift did they give you out of the box? I see in your picture the top spring seat is spun down roughly 1/4"? Did you get standard travel or extended travel?
  7. Nice! Very interested in ride quality and price
  8. I'm in the same situation. I currently have a body lift and level, but I want ~4" of lift. The zone kit with my body lift is too tall. I wonder if you could install the zone kit but instead of using the 4.5" spacers, use 3" leveling spacers?
  9. Thanks for the info about the battery cables, Realmc. Let us know if you ever experience problems again.
  10. Cool, thanks. So did they come shipped at slightly over 2" of lift? or did you have to mess with them?
  11. Are you sure that's the part number for steel control arms? There was a thread that stated that was the aluminum part number.
  12. Just got the truck back from the dealership. I was informed their master tech could not find any issues consistent with service bulletin #PIT5405A. I was given the typical "Could not replicate, therefore, problem does not exist" response. Member Txjose is having the same issue. Link to his thread. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/188923-need-help-with-truck-hvac-going-off-and-reduced-sterring/?hl=need+help+with+truck+hvac
  13. Just dropped the truck off at the dealership. I did some research and it looks like there is a service bulletin (#PIT5405A) for those who've had similar problems. Will post updates.
  14. Alright guys. I've been experiencing the problem again. First time (since last documented in this thread) was a few weeks ago. I cleaned the ground to the frame again and the problem went away. Then yesterday on my way to work, my headlights flickered whenever I pressed on the brake. Expressway driving was fine aside from that, but when I arrived at my parking spot (slow moving and turning) the power steering went crazy and the steering wheel jarred like it's done before. This always happens when I'm going slow and turning the wheel. Never when I'm moving at a decent speed and turning the wheel such as in an intersection. Alternator not putting enough out because the rpm's are low? Again today while I was driving, the info screen said my power steering assist was reduced and to drive with caution. I always have my phone plugged into the 110v outlet under the dash. I noticed my voltage meter was quite a bit below 14. Maybe 11. I never noticed that before. It also seems that this always happens when I have the AC on high. I thought perhaps the condensate is shorting something out. I'll update the thread if I figure anything out. I'm wondering if a high output alternator and 2nd battery would eliminate this problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks! I searched regularly on Craigslist and EBay for Midnight edition front end parts. I finally scored the grille and headlights after months of searching. Grille is Midnight edition, but the headlights are dealer-painted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. My truck is still problem-free since I cleaned the ground connection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Just to keep you guys updated with my situation; I have had no issues since I cleaned up the ground from the negative battery terminal to the frame right behind the front passenger-side tire. This was 3 weeks ago. Fingers crossed.
  19. Damn... I should have gotten NV's instead of Mesh. Sorry about your accident.
  20. The negative from the battery splits; one end is grounded to the engine block and the other is grounded to the frame on the body-mount right behind the front passenger side wheel (front side). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Definitely take it in immediately. I cleaned up the ground connection to the frame because it was a little gummed up from the frame-coating. It hasn't happened since I did that but we'll see. I'll be shocked if my problem was as simple as that.
  22. Interesting. Thanks for the update. I got my truck back from the dealership yesterday. They had it for a couple days but "couldn't replicate the problem." They checked wires, etc. and could not find any issue. It already happened again today. I'll have to get under the truck and check everything myself. If anyone has any insight, it would be much appreciated.
  23. Soosick, let us know if and what your dealership finds to be the problem with your truck. Another update: The problem persists. Yesterday the truck went crazy again - "servce stabilitrak" along with flickering/shuttering gauges and AC - power steering stopped briefly and this time the truck actually shut off. It was when I was pulling out of a driveway. This morning, I noticed on my way to work (dark outside) that whenever I pressed on the brake, my headlights would flicker. This has happened previously. These two problems are related, I'm sure. I will be calling the dealership later today.
  24. UPDATE: Brought my truck to the dealership yesterday morning. Got it back today. (A roughly 6 hour process, but I also got lingering recalls taken care of.) The invoice reads as follows: "Service Stabilitrak light comes on and dash and radio light goes blank when this occurs Found radio programming in IPC to be incorrect settings, reprogrammed radio" ************************************************************************************************************** "Power steering shuts off when service Stabilitrak light comes on Reprogrammed HVAC due to B1325, U0020, U1509 being set and mismatched programming" ************************************************************************************************************** "Inspect for recalls/campaigns via GM VIS system: Cause: 9100630 14126; Reprogram instrument panel cluster" ************************************************************************************************************** I'm surprised these issues were 100% program based. I even asked the service manager if he was sure there wasn't any loose electrical connections or bad sensors and he said there wasn't. I hope this actually took care of my problem but only time will tell. I will of course keep everyone updated if I still experience any problems. Hope this helps.
  25. Thanks for the info, guys. I did drain it cold. But I've tried draining it warm very recently and nothing came out either. I'll be giving mine a cleaning. I like the carb cleaner then water flush idea. Thanks for the info [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
