  1. You wouldn’t happen to take the replaced tips back in exchange?
  2. Where did you get the black exhaust tips?
  3. Level kit? Any rubbing?
  4. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/162734-foglights-on-with-high-beams/
  5. If you look at the post 2 posts above yours, you should get a good idea.
  6. How did you blackout your tail lights?
  7. Everyone agrees about the functionality of the kit, its the problems that come with it that are the issues. I hope yours work flawlessly for a long time!
  8. I aslo bought my tonneau from tuckchamps.com. I got a G2 for $630. I went back and forth between truckchamps.com and autocustoms.com, having them price match until I got it down to $630. The original offer after calling truckchamps the first time was $690, every else was selling them for $799.
  9. What do the straps do that come with the flex? My G2 actually doesn't quite lean against the cab, it's actually a little shy. Also it comes with rubber pads to protect the cab if it does eventually lean against it. The bolt heads blend right in with the cover, and at least for me, has zero impact on the overall look. I don't have any experience with the flex, but that said, I don't think you can really go wrong with either. I do agree that FRP is a better material and also the flex offers a 3 year warranty as opposed to BakFlips 1 year warranty. The deciding factor for me was the price. I couldn't find the flex for the $630 that I paid for the G2.
  10. I just bought a bakflip g2. I love the appearance and functionality of it. Mine has let a little water in after going through a car wash, but nothing significant. I got mine from truckchamps.com for $630. I started at customautos.com and went back and forth between the two until it was down to $630. At that price it's well worth it!
  11. Did you tint the lights yourself? If so what did you use? If not, who did you have do them?
  12. I think TonnoPro is a really good cover for some good "bang for your buck". My dad-in-law has the trifold hard cover and it seems to be an excellent cover. I know they're going for $5-550. I believe the soft fold is right around $300 and would imagine the quality to be the same. My other dad-in-law has the Access Laredo (roll up, not a tri-fold) and it is also an excellent cover for right around $300. I'm not sure if they make a tri-fold, but if they do, I'm sure it's an excellent cover.
  13. I bought the Bakflip G2, Haven't received it yet so I cant tell you neither here nor there as far as water resistant, but it does fold all the way up and out of the way giving full access to the bed. I paid $630 shipped to my door. I almost went with the Access Laredo (decide I wanted a hard top), as my cousin who works at a Vehicle Accessory store highly recommended it. My Dad-In-Law has it, and it looks very nice, rolls up quickly, and keeps the water out. They are right around $300.
  14. Just ordered a BakFlip G2. I went back and forth between TruckChamps and AutoCustoms, until I got the lowest price. Got a sweet deal I think, now I hope I like the function of it as much as I like the look!
  15. I understand that too, but if I drove this truck like I would normally drive I'd be under 10 MPG. Thats just silly.
  16. We used to lay on a sled and hold on to the rear bumper, or open the back doors and hold on to the pillars and ski along on our feet. I'd be so pissed if my kids did these things!
  17. The highest I have ever got was 15.6. I am about 60/40 city though. I understand that city driving is worse, but to be 3 mpgs worse, at my best, then what city is supposed to be rated at is a joke. My last tank I was at 13.1. My "best 25" is 21.8 "best 50" is 20.1, "best 400" 15.1. 3500 miles and my mileage gets worse every single fill up, like I said my last tank was 13.1. I also watch my mileage the whole time (and my fmaily thinks I'm nuts and laughs at me the whole time), and drive like a Grampappy. Coast when ever I can, and drive 65 (70 mph speed limit) on hwys, 45 (55mph) on country roads most of the time. I've never drove like this and it's starting to not be worth it, I wanna ripppp!!! lol
  18. Mine too. Drives me crazy seeing people on here getting 18-24. I have a stock setup and drive mine like an old man, and I'm stll not getting what I expected (or as advertised).
  19. Should be right at 12".
  20. So many issues on here. Is it the whole "no one bitches about the good" theory? Or do these just all have issues?
  21. Any chance you could get me a closeup of your tails? I'm really close to shipping mine off to get done, but night shades is waaaay cheaper.
  22. What did you use to smoke your tail lights?
  23. Tire readings.....AAA/BB/CC.......AAA is the width of the tires in MM...BB is the % (ratio) of the width which equals the height of the sidewall....CC is the rim diameter. So for ease of calculation we'll go with 300/50/20...The tire is 300MM's wide, the sidewall height is 150MM's tall (50% of 300) and the rim diameter is 20". 275/55 is 275MM's wide, and the side wall is (55% of 275) 151.25 MM's wide. 275/60 is 275MM's wide, and the side wall is 165MM's wide. So the 275/60's are 27.5MM's taller or just over 1" taller.
