  1. Because yes all GM trucks are perfect and have absolutely zero issues. to the OP good luck brother. Spending your hard earned money and not being satisfied sucks. We all know not one truck company is perfect. Yes there are some trouble free trucks but not all
  2. That looks pretty damn good actually. Amazing how much life it gives the K2 interior. Pretty neat that it also looks it’s stock for the most part.
  3. I also think the 10 speed for sure helps as well . Especially when shifting , it goes right back to peak torque so there is no lag. SO maybe the 2.7 also gets the 10A for 2022
  4. Fair assessment , I agree the sound is not burly like the V8s we are used to . Interesting enough I don't hear tons of Turbo noise either. Curious what the difference is ( if any) between this motor and the ones the Caddy uses which is rated @ 380 LB feet of torque
  5. Took one of our farm fleet trucks to get serviced and decided to do some runs with the 2.7L Turbo. All I can say is I'm so darn impressed with this motor. We have about 30 trucks in fleet ( mostly Gm) and decided to get some 2.7s instead of the 5.3 this year . and this motor is fantastic and never let us down. MPG is really good when your not driving like me and the acceleration would make you think its the 5.3 . I love the 5.3 nothing against it but GM has a nice motor on their hands with this 2.7 . No way in hell a regular person would guess its a 4 pot.
  6. 100% agree with you brother. I think a blown 7.0 would be awesome as I mentioned but they need R&D etc etc. they already have two 6.2 blower motor cars. One with 1.7 blower and the other with 2.7. These motors would be nice in a Silverado. Wider track , more travel , 35s , under body protection , major offroad prowess. Cmon GM give it to us ! Ram already sold out all of their TRXs before they even come out.
  7. Here is mine.. Zero time to drive it. Just sits The 7.0 is glorious. And the lightweight made it a phenomenal machine.
  8. A blown LS7. Wow wouldn’t that be something. Not a chance in hell though you and I both know. I’m curious though if a real TRX/Raptor competitor is in the works for GM. They are really missing the train here.
  9. Preference is preference. I can’t knock anyone’s preference. I just don’t get why pushing and pulling a button is so sac religious? And if it’s a clean out of the way look like the bee SUVs I welcome it. One thing I was wondering is if the lower trims will still get the stick ? While higher trims get the buttons ?
  10. Lol ? really. Dead to you ? Sheeeesh
  11. Every truck has issues. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. No one is perfect especially when your making/selling 60/70/80K trucks a month.
  12. Have to agree 20 years ago I could jump in the bed now I have to watch my footing , my grip. Age sucks. Not the best look but at this point In my life will take functionality over looks.
  13. don't even get me started on gear ratios and Gm . Why not offer other ratios as buy up options ? I don't get that part but making you pretty go directly to 3.23 unless you get the Max Tow . Ford lets you have 3.13, 3.31, 3.55 and 3.73 . Even Ram allows a 3.91 along with 2 other ratios .
  14. Will the Cyber truck have off road chops ? Come with 37s? have 15 inches of ground clearance ? I like the Cyber truck too ( the thinking behind it anyway , not so much the looks)
  15. We are comparing the Tesla Model X not the model 3 . Why would he compare a model 3 to a truck ? The X is the biggest thing they have now and don't think for a single second their Cyber Truck will be cheaper then the X .
  16. Even when your being helpful you can still remain a D***
  17. 6 speed is a tried and true Trans..I Agree 100% but the 10 speed is 10 times better . Better shifts/better acceleration and should help fuel economy by a tad ..Also the 10 speed does not hunt for gears. I have drive Ford 10 speeds and Gm speeds in different vehicles and trucks and its a great trans. When cruising it has the skip shift feature .
  18. I believe its an additional option that comes with other items. Your better of posting this in the Half ton section.
  19. Yeah another great point you bring up here. Some of this trucks tech should for sure trickle down to our trucks. And yeah this really puts a dent in the Cyber Truck . Has everything the Cyber Truck has but it also has the off-road chops
  20. I dont think so ??? Where are seeing that might ? The New T1 trucks sit higher then the K2 but i dont think the AT4 has a lift
  21. Its a niche truck and not really a work truck Per se. Yes its expensive but everything is expensive. It will have a ton of power, 350 miles of range, some serious off-road chops with up to 15 inches of clearance , air suspension , 37in tires , interior looks really nice. As poster above said, they will sell out of this. Price wise it will start around 80 and work its way up to around 110k. But think for a second. A fully loaded 2021 Power boost F150 will be around 79k . F350's get close to 90k. You know the 2022 Silverado and Sierra half tons will sticker up to around 75k. A loaded Suburban gets close to 80k . Everything is expensive.
  22. This is a very good point actually. Cause the base Super Duty gets 6.2 and 6 speed . The 7.3/10A comes with added price tag , vs GM in which you get 6.6 as base and only engine
  23. This thing will be a home run for GM. Good to see them making this bold move
  24. I really like this motor and would consider one over a half ton within next 6-8 months when I'm due for a new truck Was wondering if you guys think that for 2022 MY , GM will pair it with the 10A? Super disappointed it was not to begin with but I get money makes every decision.
