If that was the case GM would lose about 80% of their truck sales. I get it thought 8 foot bed automatically means big D or at least that’s what the long bed guys think ??
I’m still dumb founded why GM not only has the smallest tank of all major manufacturers but even went smaller on the T1s as compared to the K trucks. We’ll never mind I shouldn’t say dumb founded as I’m sure it was something to do with money. Why not offer a bigger tank as an optional up charge ? Put this up there with the wtf was GM thinking next to the 3 different transmissions being offered in their truck line.
The tailgate has been out what 1-1/12 years? Way too little time to tell the longevity. But I suspect GM went to great lengths on this tailgate. Given their commercials and all , I think it should be solid.
I for sure agree ...The proportions of the CC Standard look the best . Not a big fan of the Crew Cab look with the short , all that CAB and a small bed look odd to me but to each his own, everyone has their needs and opinions. NO wrong choice. ( even though i have one , but i will be getting a Standard bed soon again ) Also dont forget the 19+ now are 157 compared to 153 in the K2's so they look very nice to me even more now
Yes absolutely a must and for the price option is not all that bad .
I can live with no sensors in the back but a camera but sensors in the front is a very nice plus.
So for sensors in front and back is well worth is IMO
And the engine didn't blow up using 87? You dont say! what a shocker! lol J/K ....some folks on here insist the 6.2 needs 91 which is 100% false. Maybe if your towing 9k pounds up a hill in 90* degree weather the 91 helps but for 95% of driving the 87 does just fine.
I have driven on 87 and 91 and feel zero difference and MPG is also no difference.
For the love of god, i hope the interior is updated . But i'm excited to see what the new 22 trucks look like
You guys think the engines will finally get a power bump ?
This is going on 8 years with the same engine output.
My 19 Denali 6.2 with stick 22s , lifetime average is showing a tad over 17 ,,,,
50/50 mix of street and HWY , i drive her pretty hard.
Gas sometimes i use 87 , and sometimes I use 91
Noticed zero difference in mileage and performance on gas
F150 kills it in sells ..And its a Yawner ? lol you dont think they will gain market share back with their new model/options?
And RAM has had the best 18 months ever in their history .
Cmon guys, i get we all drive GM trucks and love our GM trucks but some of the homer comments on this board are really funny.
My personal opinion is the standard bed crew cab looks better then the CC short bed. I find the shirt bed crew looks weird with all that cab space and a small bed. And this is coming from someone who owns a shore bed currently after both my K2 were standard bed crews. Only reason I got my tea one with the short bad was because that’s all they had at the time and I really needed to get into some thing but to each his own everybody has their own opinion
GM still hasn’t fully figured how to make a nice interior. The new GM SUVs are a step in right direction but overall they are still trying to figure out the interior game. This is coming from a guy who owns a 19 Sierra Denali. I know interior is not GM strong suit but somehow I still find myself in a GM truck ( my 5th GM truck )
it is what it is
