Got to use my lift kit today at work to park. Unfortunately I got yelled at and told to move my shit. Apparently they didn't appreciate it.

They are 17x9 with 0 offset. They only sell two 17s in 6x5.5. One being what I got and the other is 17x8.5 offset 25.

How much did the body match grille run you if you don't mind me asking. I want to body match the grille, headlight trimming and bumpers. I don't like chrome

I've already tested my truck with the 37s off road so far no issues just had the shop check it out after the first 500 miles after lift ended up being more about 800 miles. Shop said no rubbing issues and no problems that they could see. They guarantee there work so if it rubs and messes up the tire they will replace it. I already some how got a scratch on one of my new wheels. The shop said they would order a replacement and take care of everything.

I live in Upstate NY and the only part of the lift kit I can't do myself is the welding. In NY to pass inspection the welding has to be done by a certified welder. Also I have 37s so there was some additional time required for slight trimming and pinning the wheel well back. Shops up here charge about $66 a hour for labor and the dealerships are higher. When I was in GA had a shop quote me $500 for install but that was 2 years ago.

I just has a 6inch BDS lift kit installed. Dealer sold me lift with upgraded Fox 2.0 shocks for just about 1900 and install was about 700. All depends where you go and if they will work with you.

I can't use the stock splash guards since I have 37s they had to take them off to make sure there was no rubbing while off roading

Do those fender flares help with the kick up from the tires. I'm thinking about getting a set but dont want to spend the $800 bucks if they don't work well.

The lifters and pushrods on the 2010s are weak from what ive read on forums. I had my 2010 z71 5.3 started having issues at 36000 miles with random noises under the hood. Took it to the dealership 4 times for the noise and loss of power but they said they didn't hear it and wouldn't look into unless there was total engine failure. Looked online for answers and some guys had the same issues and it cost them tons to get it fixed. During my reading into the issue I was having someone on a forum said 2010 Chevys were made cheaper because of the bail out not 100% if that's true but I didn't want to wait for total engine failure so traded it to the same dealership that wouldn't look into the problem for a 2014 Silverado. Sales manager called me a few days after with a long list of repairs they had to do to the truck after the techs took a good look at it. 3-4k in repairs along with a new set of tires. I think I made a wise choice.

Yeah I took pictures of it all the way right and left. The shop did a good job of trimming in the wheel well and pinning the liner back in there.

The 37s are awesome i love how they fill in the wells. Ive looked at alot of truck's with 35s and some looked good others looked like they could go bigger. The shop I went to said with a little trimming they could fit 37s. Didn't want to regret not getting a big enough tire so let them do the work to fit the 37s. I'm really happy with the work and with the Mickey Thompson Deegan 38s . The ride is a little rougher but the tires are MTs so that was expected.

Its cheaper to replace tires on smaller rims that's why I went with a 17 and gives me more sidewall so I don't have to worry about messing up my rim if I hit a curb or something goes wrong off road.
