Well my friend, my days of sierra vibrations have ended. I traded her in for a 2017 ram copperhead sport. They paid my truck off and lowered my payments and this thing is smooth as silk up to even 90 mph. The ride is more comfortable, and just seems like I got more truck for my money. I wish u all the best of luck on ur journey of getting ur vibes fixed. Take care.

I noticed this and thought I might've nicked a wire. Does anyone notice that sometimes there system is louder then others or is it just me?

I just installed the 19303117 kit in my 2015 crew cab Sierra. All I can say is "WOW".... huge gain in clarity and bass. 2-3 times better then the boss system by far. And it's easy to install. I got mine for $610 on eBay. I would highly recommend..

I'm waiting for the day that a drivshaft lets loose or a wheel hub falls off and causes some serious damage. Gm will have a hell of a lawsuit against them.there telling me that the vibration is normal.. And then they tell me they don't have a fix. Well its unsafe. How am I suppose to know if my truck is vibrating because of its normal characteristic of because my wheel is about to fall off and send my truck out of control and possibly kill or hurt people? The loaner truck they gave me shook worse then mine and the gm rep also admitted that mine road better then his. So that's 4 out of 4 trucks right there that shake.. I hope gm gets ass raped for what there putting us through. Can we Sue for mental anguish cause it stresses me out every time I drive this damn thing....

Well boys and girls.. I got my new michelin tires put on yesterday and drove it at my normal speeds today and i have to say it feels like the vibration is all about gone.. Dont wanna say for sure yet but i only got a minoot vibration in the counsel and wheel. And the car seems to ride better with these tires. Ill give it a week before i say they fixed 99% of the vibration but the ride into work and home was the best ride ive had at highway speeds yet..

i have a vibration on hard acceleration from a dead stop also..

no i mean the pinion angle. It constantly is changing under a load or deceleration. Thats y they have u-joints.

Well gm rep says 80% of the vibration is in my tires so im gonna let them throw new michelins on it. Not gonna turn them down even though i know its not the problem. I had the ass end loaded with about 14 sheets of 1/2 drywall and was on the highway and guess what happened..... The vibration got better.. Like i origionally told the dealer the vibration is coming from the driveline not the tires or the body mounts or the new "world class frame" #whatajoke#.... So the pinion angle changed and so did the vibration.. Ill let them know this a week after my new tires.. ?

i would be willing to be if u have grease or diff fluid at the ujoints then the driveshaft is out of balance causing premature wear on the seals.

This whole situation upsets me so bad. If i was to bring a 95 chevy into the servie department for this same issue they would rape me in diagnostic time trying to figure it out. But since gm already paid there engineers there part on designing this rattle trap and they dont wanna pay all the warranty time then there gonna come up with this excuse of it being within spec and that theres no issue here?! Another thing that bothers me is how much did gm pay "car and driver" and other vehicle review company's to say that this truck didnt have any vibration issues and it was in the top 3 trucks.. Gm needs to make things right. Also i wanna know what it will take for all of us customers to put a class action suit against gm.. We need to make some major moves and not let gm get away with insulting us with lies and bullshit about vibrations in a $50k truck is normal.. Even the buy back program is crap. We shouldnt have to buy another truck or test drive a ton of trucks to find a non-vibrator if gm buys our truck back. We should be able to wipe our hands clean and go with another brand. Or they should pay the difference of our trade in..

Im still waiting for a phone call from a rep named steve.. Wonder if ill ever get it... Not holding my breath. Maybe next time i go to the dealer ill be a complete **** and cause a scene. Doubt that will get me anywhere either.. I just want my frigging truck fixed... Thats not so much to ask.. Im literally about to diagnose and fix it myelf and send gm my bill ...

Well after my 3rd visit to the dealership my problem also still isnt solved.. My issues are Vibration at 70-80mph Vibration on hard acceleration from dead stop Nasty vibration for a split second when going from v-4 to v-8 at lower speeds and also a clunk when letting off the gas... They gave me the whole "we got a new laser wheel balancer and thats what the issue is" i let them think that was the problem and they balanced the wheels and the vibration is still the same.. I also was told that "the vibration on hard accel is normal and there was no problem found". I took the service manager for a ride to verify the vibration. He said gm says it normal. They wouldnt document that there were any vibrations on the invoice because "GM" wont allow them too.. And that a guy named steve from GM will be contacting me... So he basically told me im screwed and there wiping there hands of the issue.. Wish i had the money for a lawyer.. This is a complete crock of $hit.. How can it be this hard to figure out.. I should do it myself.. And then sell the fix to GM..

Well first trip to the dealership for my 2015 sierra 1500 crew cab sle 5.3 with 3.42 gears for my vibration in steering wheel and center counsel at 70-80 and of course the dealership says they dont notice anything out of the ordinary.. Im furious to say the least. Guess ill have to take one of there technicians cor a ride and put it in there face.. Also have a very noticeable gear noise coming out of the cront diff when in 4x4 and taking off from a dead stop and of course they said they didnt notice anything there either.. Is gm telling these dealerships not to confirm this problem?

The problem isn't in the tires,driveshaft,or rear diff. Its in the engine management system.. Go to the display on the dash where it shows when it goes from v4 to v8 and watch the magic happen. The vibrations start when the trans is in to high of a gear and the management system that's supposed to "save fuel" goes to v4 and then the truck acts like a stick shift that's in 5th gear at 20 miles an hour.... My truck is a week old and I don't want it anymore cause of this.. Happens both at high and low speeds... 40k for a truck that's unpleasant to drive... Thanks gm... So there ya go general motors.. I'm not a engineer just a a.s.e. certified mechanic that just solved ur problem.. Sorry if I seem cocky or upset but unless you "gm" either buys back my vehicle or fixes it within the next week then this is the response you will get from me. A dedicated gm owner since I could drive.. But those tundras are looking really good right about now...feel free to contact me gm representative on my cell to help me resolve my issue with my new truck 219-588-5002.. Thanks
