I had a 14 terrain and the infotainment system worked flwlessly. Nav, voice commands, phone synced no problems with iphone or android. Upgraded to a high country, and this system lacks. I cant even get text to speech, wich was on the terrain and is even on my wifes 23k honda civic. It just didnt occur to me gm would have a completly differnt system on the chev. I was happy how tje terrain worked, dissapointed when i started using it on the high country. I take the blame however for assuming gm would have equivelent systems across the board. 30k higher msrp, system must be just as good or even better. Not so.

Yes. Cold temp is screwing up the tccm. Take it to your dealer to get reset, and wait for permanent fix from gm. Dealer told me to put the truck in 2wd before shutting off, only codes in auto/4wd on startup. So far so good.

It's a deliberate faulty design by GM to ensure every GM vehicle on the road is shining and clean, making other dirty vehicles look inferior and therefore promoting their brand and new sales. [emoji6]

I wouldnt bother with the owner. I bought my wife a gmc terrain last year and it ended up having an intermittent discharge of the battery that the dealer couldnt find or fix, and eventualy gave up and told me to put a battery tender in. Long story short, i opened a case with a gm ambassador and gm bought it back at full price after a year. You have to be persistent, and never give up. Never, ever, give up.
