So, is the bowtie in the back just taped on? Is it easy to remove? Guess I better add a photo.

Can run things longer without the engine running. Also have more starting capacity/power. I want to get a second battery with an isolator for camping to run lights, chargers etc.

I saw that and thought it was pretty cool, that there was a spot ready for the second. battery. Are there any configurations that come with 2 batteries from the factory?

Is it just getting cooler out there? You will see a 20% drop off or more as it cools down. More if you are doing short trips where the motor has to warm up every time.

I have the LT265/70R17C All-terrain blackwall tires. My truck is 4x4 dbl cab 4.3 w 3.42. I drive a lot of dirt roads so need the AT tires and like having 17s for the ride. I think with the 255/70 17 street tires I could get another 2mpg easy. I guess I am pretty old school and don't like the look of the 20s or 22s, not to mention the ride. I wish we had some more flat roads around here as I am getting about 28mpg going 65 on the flat. It jumps over 30 going 55. But out west here the speed limits are pretty high. We have 80 mph on a lot of Interstate. Right in town it is 70 mph on I-15. Our back roads are all 65 outside of towns. We do have some good down hills so the 25 and 50 don't mean too much, but it is still fun to see what these trucks can do. I have a new 50 record that I will post up. A big thing I found is that the cruse controls works really well. I have a hard time beating it. It seems to keep the motor in V4 more than I can. I will get up to speed manually and I turn off the cruse on the big down hills to let the truck pick up speed for the next up hill. And some times I will bump the speed down a few mph on uphills and then get back to the speed limit on the down hill. I even use the cruse in town.

27.2 for 400 miles. Ventilator which tires and size do you have?

Yeah the 24s will get ya. I have the All-terrains which aren't as good as the all seasons. That 50 had a large down hill so is a bit cheating but still fun to try to set a high number. You should see the 25 number. I didn't post that because 25 doesn't mean too much. But my life time number is over 22mpg and my commute is all city.

You should be in the mid 20s or higher going 55 on flat. Are you seeing it kick into V4? I get very good results with the cruse control. I can beat the cruse but it is not really worth the effort, as the cruse does a good job.

I don't see an instantaneous mpg reading reading on that screen. Does it show that? See the number on the left (54 mpg) of the chevy screen. That number helps a lot as the bar tops out at 35 mpg or so. (going by memory forgot the exact range of the bar graph)
