  1. Hello fellow Houstonian. Do you mind me asking how much you got for yours? I love them on my truck but they do stick out to far when getting out of the truck and it is kind of annoying at times. Especially if it is raining.
  2. I was just about to come on here and ask why their website doesn't list the MIT for the 6.2 on the 16s, 17s or 18s. So you pretty much answered my question. Glad to know if I order it for the year 15, it will work on my 17. Did you just keep the stock filter in there? I have no desire to put a wet filter in the factory intake box. I would prefer to just keep the stock one. Is there a reason they aren't updating it? Is there something slightly different about the tubing on the newer models?
  3. I have a 2017 Denali 6.2 and was curious as to if an entire CAI is needed or just an airraid jr kit would add a little? I already have the gm borla catback system on the truck.
  4. Anyone know where to get a short antenna that has equal or possibly better reception than the long ugly stock one?
  5. What are the best replacement to rid of these terrible factory Windshield Wiper Blades?? Mine have streaked since day one and it has only gotten worse. Thanks. Sorry if this has been asked already
  6. What Chevy performance intake are you speaking of? Was it P/N 84016022?
  7. I put wheels/tires on cars/trucks/RV's/etc all throughout college as my job (discount tire). Torque your wheels if you have the tools to do it. It was policy for us to torque every wheel we took off and put on. We used compacts as well but we have special torque sockets we had to use.
  8. Good to know! Let me know how it works out.
  9. So you are running E85 on a vehicle not suited to run on it?
  10. Man damn iphone doesn't have it lol. Well according to BAFX they only work on android for their products. I guess I could always hook it up to my laptop..
  11. I love mine. I don't really use during the summer down here (Houston). Way to hot, but in the season we call "winter" I use it all the time. It creates a good air flow on the cooler days. Plus the rear defog is really nice since my truck is often covered in dew in the mornings.
  12. Mine does the same thing. I thought it was the exhaust but I have a catback on it now (without the flapper valve) and it still does it. It only does it on a cold start though. I thought it was something with the starter.. Took it to the dealer and they couldn't duplicate the sound for some reason. I even showed them a video similar to the youtube one and they said they checked everything and all was normal..
  13. Is thread specifically for tire/suspension vibrations or engine as well? Does anyone else have a problem with vibration (or perhaps a shimmy) during high RPMs? I don't WOT my truck that often but the other day I did and the vibration around 5k RPM was insane.
  14. I have had it since April of 2015 and I haven't modified anything on the exterior of the vehicle. I noticed the noise about 2 months ago on the beltway here in Houston going about 70 but it only happened once. This last trip it was happening almost constantly and it was really annoying!
  15. That is possible. I will try that next time! Well yea I can understand that seems excessive but that is legal in Texas. I agree that they are likely not tested to those speeds in wind tunnels but you would think at 70 mph, you wouldn't have that sound. 70 mph is pretty common in a lot of states. And with this truck, going 70 feels like going 50. It drives like a car. Edit: I also avg 25 miles to the gallon on the trip
  16. So I went on about a 3 hour road trip over Christmas to see some relatives. I noticed at around 70-75 mph there is a loud whistling noise that comes from (I think) the mirrors. It sounds as if you are blowing air over an empty beer bottle.. It is a similar tone. I folded the mirrors in while driving at the same speed and the noise subsided some, but I could still hear it.. It is extremely annoying. I live in Texas and the speed limit is 75 on rural highways. You can easily go 80 and not have a problem. Does anyone else have this issue? I think it might be the chrome mirror caps?
  17. No kidding.. And to add to that, they didn't put any AC vents back there for whatever reason..
