  1. Crafferty, what is your round about factory range. I have a factory one and its seems like it is a very short range. 300 ft maybe if I'm lucky Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. Oh didn't know you were 2wd. Still I like the height. Just enough. A little more work for the 4wd but hey. Need mine to get on your appearance level. Very nice Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. Sal, there are 2 5 inch lifts available ..one with new steering knuckles or spindles and one with UCA drop brackets. Curious on which one you got? Also did you use their rear shocks...if so which ones? Happy with the shocks? Did u install or someone else? Sorry for all the questions. That's the exact height I want. Just right!! 4. From reading it sounds like that may be it. I didn't notice the needle movement like morrislee but I wasnt paying attention to it either. I drive this highway every day so I'm wondering if it is the super cold we have right now. I do 90 % of driving in the manual mode. M4 or m5 around town and when I jump on the highway upshift to m6 once I get up to 65- 70/mph. I haven't tried to see if leaving it in m5 on the highway or having the shift lever in D mode instead of M. This was at the approximate speed of 70 and I noticed it more once I had a grade to climb whether it be a slight uphill or more pronounced. I'll have to keep an eye on it and try leaving it in M5 to see if v4 or m6 is the culprit. At least this gives some info on where its coming from. Another thing and not sure if this is coincidence or a factor but I only notice this after installing my leveling kit albeit we haven't had this low of temps ( minus degrees) either. 5. Question for you guys. For the most part I'm super happy with the 1500. Love the looks , int., and such but what I'm finding is its finicky with temperature. I'm noticing if its a decent day even 32 degrees she runs good once all warmed up. We are in a big cold snap today, tonight and tomorrow if - numbers. I had taken a ride to the gym at 430 and I had no problems. My drive consists of a main road then a highway for 10 minutes then another 10 minutes on a back road. Coming home the temp is 0 degrees with a windchill of -25. I noticed it a lot on the highway but I was getting major surging. Almost like a carburetor with dirty jets. The truck would be driving and surge ,run good then surge. I know cold weather reeks havoc on everything but I figured once up to temp there would be no problem. Seems in the cold the tranny has major dead spots between shifts and the horrible surge. Has anyone else encountered this and have an answer to what may be the problem? 6. Its not the snow I hate or the sand..well I hate the sand..but the salt. Up here in Mass they lay salt and sand down like they're making a dirt road. All that salt just does nasty wonders to the frames and sheetmetal. The vehicles in the warm south states have a much longer life than in these salt soaked states Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. I haven't posted mine yet as I have nothing to really show. She's stock until tomorrow night when my level goes on. Armyman , you don't want the snow. You gotta deal with this as well. All the salt and sand you pick up. On the ground is all the dirt I washed off from driving yesterday and the dirt in the fenderwell is just from today. Yes I'm anal.....I wash mine in freezing temps. 8. Well took the truck out all day today. Had a funeral to go to and in the northeast we are getting a good amount of snow again. I can dilefinately feel this spacer put in to take up the slack makes the throttle just feel nice. Feels like you now touch the gas and she wants to move. Not that bad lag I had everyday from before. I'm sure a tranny tune would work additional wonders but not till my warranty is up Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. I haven't driven it yet. I'll see if I can find a hard rubber gromet or something. Driving in the morning. Should I feel a bit of difference? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. Beast, what nerf bars are those? That's the style I'm looking at but not sure on the limited step area vs full length running boards Oh and what lift are u running? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Wow I just went and look at my pedal. My pedal doesn't flex like the video. I have a '15 lt cc w non adjustable pedals. The pedal and electronics are bolted to a flimsy piece of plastic only held on to the floor by the left side of the plastic. Nothing on the right side to anchor it to the floor. I could pull up on the pedal and plastic and have 1/2 inch of play either way. For now I wedged a 1/4 inch thick piece of a metal bracket in my junk drawer til I get a better solution. 12. OK thanks guys. Yea I was thinking just the 2 inch right now. I think if I went with 3 inches my rear height is ~39.25 now and that would make 41-42. I don't want a rake in the truck Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  13. Guys I'm curious on something. For those that installed a leveling kit and also installed the 2 inch rear block. Was a shock extender for the rear needed due the increase in lift?...Or does it work fine without a extender? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. Massachusetts, yea that's what I was thinking. It was about 1/2 from the top. I'm sure some made it past since it was so high. Didn't think it would happened in just 1000 miles but def gonna check a whole lot more Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. I threw a catch can on at roughly 1000 miles. Since I live in the northeast and we've had a lot of cold days Im sure there's condensation in the catch can as well. The can is roughly the size of a coke can and in just 1200 miles( I'm at 2200 total) the can was full. Same color as ^^^ Macks. Def glad I installed it early. I cringe to think of this crap getting into the intake and cylinders Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
