Guys I'm looking for some help. Read thru the thread and its a array of every type of cover. Some cheap some expensive some hard some soft but the minute I read one that sounds good another pops up just as good. I'm looking to get a cover but these are the things I'm looking to stay within 1. Reasonably priced.. Probably no more than 400-450 2. Water tight or at least as much as possible 3. Probably soft as I'm assuming cheaper. 4. Somewhat good looking and flowing with the bed 5. Thinking a rolling vs the tri fold for more use of the bed when needed I was looking at the gator sr2. Looks nice, sits more on the inside of the bed, has rails to hold snow weight on top... Anyone use this and have any thoughts on it. If not the gator what ones do you guys recommend? Keith, can you take some pics down the side. I have the motofab 3 in level and stock 18s and was curious on spacers. The wheels just don't sit right to me. Even stock it liked to deep in the wells. For just adding the rcx 2.5 kit there's no need to replace the shocks. Stacking the factory w rc I can't comment on but I do know they make shock extenders for when the lift gets past the shock length point. I'm curious on something from you guys. I have the stock tires and rims. My plan is down the road some rims and tires and at first was thinking 20s but for some reason I'm kinda leaning to a 18 inch rim. I know one pro is less weight. . and maybe a smoother ride....?/ as for jumping to 33s vs the stock 31s. Do you guys notice the difference in power loss due to a taller tire. I don't plan on tuning , maybe a intake tube and new muffler so curious if anyone was like " wow I can definitely feel the lack of get up and go."..? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Hey guys. Wanted to jump in this thread as I'm not sure I'm experiencing the vibration or noise this thread talks about so I'll give u a rundown on what I've felt. My normal driving conditions are on main and back roads of may 50 or less mph. Thru the week I hit the highway for about only 4 miles and I usually keep her under 70. At that speed I sometimes can hear a him come and go. Well today I had taken a 1 1/2 trip with speeds going close to 85 as traffic was humming along. This is the first time I noticed at 75 + a large rumble, hum coming from the truck. Also what felt like the truck surging or searching and this may be due to the very hilly hiway. The rumble or hum I can't place. I don't think the tires meaning balance wise as I've had vehicles with tires needing a balancing and it is a different feel. Not the rumble I get. The rumble kinda sounds like but isn't as loud as say rumble strips but minus the harsh vibration. My fuel level is all over the place and with it being full half or empty at less that 70 its barely notices me but today I filled up and only noticed the vibration, rumble, whatever on the 1 1/2 drive home. Check under the truck when I got home thinking front axles or something loose but nothing. Also trans temps were at 194 exiting the hiway

Like Donstar said, I removed the original rear block. I think its about 1.25 inch's. So the rear 2 inch gave me an added .75 lift, which I feel it needs the 3 to be visually level. The motofab front is a solid piece. Fairly easy to install. Like donstar said UCA would be recommended just right now I hove the stock steels. With mine I love it. More aggressive looking, no noises or problems and the ride is still beautiful. All I really need is new rims and 33s to get that nice look. In time. Just a PSA, after the install...drive it for a week or so then go back around and check all your nuts and bolts for their proper tightness. My swaybar was a bit loose so I retightened it. I haven't had any adverse effects to the level. Ride, comfort, feel, are still mint. Definitely feel that higher up that I wanted. Just need steps, wheels, a tonnue, exhaust, tint, ect.... And a 6 inch lift lol

I installed the motofab 3 " leveling kit with their 2"rear blocks. To the naked eye it looks just about level but measured the rear is 1/4 to .5 inches lower. If I were to do it again I would get a 3 inch block for the rear. RC has the block for 40 bucks and ready lift has the 3" block withe ubolts for 150. Seems the ubolts are what make the price higher

Take my opinion w a grain of salt but I don't like the red for one reason...it doesn't match the truck color. I do like the black with the stripes and center cap. That looks very nice

Same here. I got the 3 month or whatever complimentary OnStar but I let it lapse. I use the app if I'm in the house to see what my gas level, tire pressure is just out of curiosity. Are you saying that the OnStar app won't start your truck anymore. Again mine lapsed but I am still able to use the Nav in the truck and start the truck with the app...only thing I've noticed is the stereo would tell me the weather and forecast but that just comes up blank now if I click it. Sal, there are 2 5 inch lifts available ..one with new steering knuckles or spindles and one with UCA drop brackets. Curious on which one you got? Also did you use their rear shocks...if so which ones? Happy with the shocks? Did u install or someone else? Sorry for all the questions. That's the exact height I want. Just right!! From reading it sounds like that may be it. I didn't notice the needle movement like morrislee but I wasnt paying attention to it either. I drive this highway every day so I'm wondering if it is the super cold we have right now. I do 90 % of driving in the manual mode. M4 or m5 around town and when I jump on the highway upshift to m6 once I get up to 65- 70/mph. I haven't tried to see if leaving it in m5 on the highway or having the shift lever in D mode instead of M. This was at the approximate speed of 70 and I noticed it more once I had a grade to climb whether it be a slight uphill or more pronounced. I'll have to keep an eye on it and try leaving it in M5 to see if v4 or m6 is the culprit. At least this gives some info on where its coming from. Another thing and not sure if this is coincidence or a factor but I only notice this after installing my leveling kit albeit we haven't had this low of temps ( minus degrees) either.
