There is a thread for Fogs as DRLs, but I'm sure that he/she took a diode and jumped it between Fogs (stripe to BRN-22) and DRL (BRN-7). Keep in mind, you may/will not have control of your FOGs after this, may/will not be able to turn them off without removing the diode.

Both crash sites are off base. I’ve biked out to the XB-49 site a few times, when I lived in California City. That I know of, only two crash sites on base, out in the AFRL area, T-38 (1997) and F-111 (unknown date). I have a list of coordinates at work for several crash sites, all off base. Anyways, off to bed for my first DAY back at work. O’Dark Hundred comes way too early.

JETHAWKS!!!! I’m staying in Kern, Rosamond is in Kern, close to work, and some off-road things to do. We don’t mind driving to Bakersfield or Valencia, or Apple Valley. We’re going to venture to Ontario and Fontana, CA in a few weeks. In November, I’m looking at taking my brother in law, nephew, and son out to the XB-49 (south of California City) and XB-70 (northwest of Barstow) crash sites.

I used the smallest jewelers crosstie/awl to forge a path next to the pin to push the lead into. My first one was just as rough, when I did this to my 15. I ran them nearest corners to each pin, pushing leads all the way in.

Took the family to chruch this morning. Daughter took off after church with one of her friends to lunch and go shopping. Wife, son, and I went to brunch in Cal City, look at a furniture store in Mojave, grab some groceries, and drove home, crossing the 1,000 mile mark just south of Mojave.

Went to get the letter from my Dr with my work limitations, which my managers will need tomorrow at work. Nothing to do? Except for doctors and some shopping, nothing until April.

Drove to Lancaster yesterday afternoon, proved to be a wasted trip, drop to Edwards to go help my wife with something at her work, took the family to dinner in Rosamond, and then around midnight, drove to Lancaster to have a bite with some of the guys that I work with.Start back to work on Monday, after 15 weeks of recovery from the collision.

Drove to Lancaster yesterday afternoon, proved to be a wasted trip, drop to Edwards to go help my wife with something at her work, took the family to dinner in Rosamond, and then around midnight, drove to Lancaster to have a bite with some of the guys that I work with. Start back to work on Monday, after 15 weeks of recovery from the collision.

If you put the cargo light to come on with the reverse lights, unlock has nothing to do with them, unless you have the settings on the truck set to do so. BUT, the diodes are one way, so if your cargo lights usually come on when you unlock/open the doors, reverse lights will not come on. I had the same mods done on my ‘15, fogs ON with highs, cargos ON with reverse, and puddles ON with doors/interiors. Grey mod is puddle lights ON when doors are open. With the diode installed on GRY1 & GRY8, if you turn ON the interior lights, the puddles will light up, but not with individual map lights. Found out that on my ‘18, I don’t need to do this mod. I’m going to do the fogs/highs & cargo/reverse mods tomorrow. I have a third diode, not sure what I want to do with it, yet.

With my previous truck, I blinked, had it for a year and about 20K.

When I’m on 2nd Shift, we clock out around 11:15pm, and I’m on the road by 11:20. Pretty sure my manager will have me back on 2nd, at least that’s what he was telling me, the other day.

Hopefully, next week will be my last week on convalescence. Then I’ll be back in that mess. Maybe I’ll meet you at Denny’s in Mojave, my first Friday night back at work.

Today, I drove out to Edwards AFB, picked up my wife after we dropped off her CR-V for its first set of new tires, drove to Rosamond for breakfast, Lancaster for some shopping, Mojave to go talk to CHP, Tehachapi to buy a couple diodes for some light mods, back to Rosamond to grab my hitch (forgot it when I left the house this morning), back to Edwards AFB to pickup wife’s car and a trailer for tomorrow’s parade in Boron, and then home for the night. Crossed the 400 mile mark and the 500 mile mark. Truck and trailer are out front ready to go. Will post pictures after the parade, when I have them.

Drove my son and I to church, wife and daughter had to head in early. Then after church, my son and I went and filled it up for the first refuel, grabbed some Burger King, went to the automated car wash (first bath), and drove home.
