I had the suspension maxx kit before my fabtech lift and yes it worked perfectly with stock ride quality. I also had 2015 4x4 but with 6.2 not 5.3. Just check their website to confirm the fitment or call them and you should be good to go.
The back went up about 2 and the front went up about 4. So yes they are level now but a bit taller. You can stack the rear spacers together if you want to keep a high rear end.
Michael,
I did not reposition the sensors. I just re homed mine through the computer. Unless somone takes a pic of their stock sensor locations I dont think there is anyway of knowing.
Mudrover,
The last few posts where actually from the last 2 days. I will update my progress on monday. I am going to attempt to recalibrate the standard position of the ride sensors and if that does not work I will make a linkage adjustment / custom bracket to get the position back similar to stock. I will keep you guys in the loop with my findings.
I am not confident utilizing both the suspension maxx spacers and the fabtech kit together would work. If you are looking for a 6" lift all around you can go with the fabtech 6" kit or go with what danger did and get the 7" kit from I believe full throttle suspension if im not mistaken. I would have loved to go taller but being from chicago I cherish my garage parking spot during the winter haha.
I went to the fabtech because the leveling kit only bumped the front about 2". The fabtech kit is a 4" lift all around. The suspension maxx leveling kit worked great. Comes with a bracket to re-adjust the magneride sensors to factory position. I went to the fabtech kit just to get more lift. The fabtech kit created a very rough ride but doesnt throw any service suspension codes or lights. Im going to recalibrate the sensors on monday and will respond back with what I came up with for anyone who is curious in the future.
Guys,
I have ran the suspension Maxx leveling kit and it rode like factory. I wanted to go bigger and finished the fabtech 4" lift install today. Extremely bumpy ride after the install. I am going to attempt to relearn the sensors on Monday but DO NOT expect near factory ride quality after this kit is installed without some kind of adjustment. Also the factory 20" denali wheels will bolt up but will rub the new control arms when the wheels are fully turned with the fabtech kit. I will reply again if I have any luck improving ride quality.
