Hey folks,
Doing an upgrade to a Pioneer head unit and have a few questions. I priced out everything on Crutchfield and seems fairly straight forward except for one component.
One component that it says I need it "Axxess AXM50-GM1 Amplifier Retention Interface". This adapter is 250$. No way in hell I'm buying this part to keep a crappy amp. Instead of buying this part I want to just buy a new amp. I have the following questions.
1. I have Bose LTZ with center console, how can I confirm if I have a sub in the center console or not? I have read various things saying some have it and some do not. I would probably just replace the sub here. Is this an 8" sub?
2. Does anyone have wiring diagram of the Bose Amp? Essentially I would just run a new line out from the head unit to the back and put in the new amp to bridge and runt he sub. I would just run the other speaker from the head unit. Any concerns with this configuration? Keep in mind I have no issues with the current quality of sound from Bose, I jsut really am tired of this head unit and want to upgrade to get android auto and other features.
3. Other ides or better configurations/options?
