Following I have a 2021 Denali with the same error. I am out of warranty and need a solid fix if anything is available. Can GM send me a new SIM card? I am very hesitant to go to the dealership as it sounds like they are only throwing darts at the problem. GM - please provide some solid feedback.

Following: I am also thinking about leveling and or a mild lift. I have a new to me, 2021 1500 Denali ultimate. Not sure if it has “super cruise” but it does have “adaptive cruise”. Also, not sure about ARC(active ride control). I like it as an asphalt queen but thinking about a more robust setup might be cool. The rims have some rash for 30k miles & tires will be ready to retire. Stay with Denali? Any vendors would be appreciated- I am in Florida

There are several threads on this site for this issue . Search for videos and part numbers. For many it boils down to replacing the digitizer. It’s a fairly inexpensive and easy swap out. I had found a couple helpful videos on YouTube on how to take the screen out to get to the digitizer. i paid about $300 2 years ago for the part but many found it much cheaper now . Check e-bay and or other sites? Some say you can unplug the blue plug from the module behind your glovebox then plug it back in to reset it. I did not have luck with doing that. good luck and pm me if you need/want help finding the threads or videos

Thank you for the direction on this. For the driver side front only $63 and for the drivers side rear $120. Interseting they look so similar but one is twice the price. I may wait until they have an agent on duty to verify the pricing but this looks so easy to replace. I was really hoping to replace the rubber only but I dont see that as an option. Does $200 for both doors on the drivers side sound about right? I understand the crew cab may be more $$ than the double. Thanks again for taking the time to respond. Merry Christmas!

I am trying to find a part # or link to buy replacement weather strips for the doors. It’s where the window meets the door (rubber). I found a couple Y tube links but most broke the clips when removing the whole chrome trim piece I would like to replace the rubber only if possible. Any direction to get these replaced is much appreciated. thanks!

Slow leak on notorious crummy condenser?? I just had to replace mine $250 for part & $250 labor for same year GMC 1500 SW FL.

True mine does similar “falls flat” when coming out of a slower turn. Almost as if it s confused on what gear it is supposed to be in. stutters then finds a gear. Not sure if this is fixable or characteristic on the drive train. ??

What’s the best fluid for front, rear differential and for transfer case? For 2015 Sierra 4x4 weight, brand etc.. I don’t get under the truck anymore so what’s a fair shop price for all? thanks in advance

Replace the screen digitizer -sold on eBay or elsewhere YouTube has a few videos on how to dismantle and replace. it took me about 30 minutes start to finish. good luck.

I had mine replaced at a small AC shop. owner said he had replaced many on the GMC & Sierras. I paid $250 for parts & $250 for labor- thats half what the dealer wanted. good luck

I had the same issue and found several threads on this site about it. Many, including myself have changed out the digitizer. The digitizer is offered on eBay and YouTube has several videos on "how to" replace. (be careful with the ribbon connectors.) It took me about 45 minutes and the cost range from $50-$300 depending on where you buy the digitizer. That is typically the fix for random crazy screen. Let me know if you need help finding the links and I will dig them up.

Can someone provide a part # or link for the weather stripping? Also, is there a way to remove WITHOUT breaking clips? thanks

I bought mine from a company (I think opuradio?) I paid more than the eBay is offering - oh well it fit and works great! Good luck-took me about 45 -60 minutes I found a couple good YouTube videos that helped with getting it out and apart. be careful with the ribbons.

I bought a soft close tail gate shock on Amazon for $25 i gave up on the GM parts. easy fix

This sounds like the digitizer is shorting out and needs to be replaced. This is relatively inexpensive on eBay and there are a few threads on this site and “how to”. Videos on YouTube to R & R.

be careful when working with the ribbon connections ~ they are fragile

Some have had success on eBay for the digitizer I paid $200 plus heavy shipping costs but others are finding them much cheaper. It’s a relatively easy DIY project. several threads on this and a few how to videos on YouTube good luck

Try the battery reset first could be the beginning of a bad digitizer. not sure on seats but battery reset usually works. good luck
