  1. Not 100% sure on this. Not even anywhere close to my chevy in my sig. but she does see roughly hr and a half or less of idling per day depending on how cold it is at work. I would love to know what my idle hrs are but hrs are mid 700’s miles 24k ish miles
  2. Would be nice. But i had this setup for a long time i think since last November? Last time i tried to get them to clamp my res on in place of flowmaster to see what I thought vs paying money to have it welded then cutoff and flowmaster re welded if I didn’t like it.. they didn’t like the idea of clamps
  3. I do know the 17 chevys are a lot different with that flapper mine currently has a bolt through it (i had laying around) last time i checked? Not sure if its still there?? I decided to leave that flapper in place when i got my flowmaster put on ($160 muffler+welding) and res delete now I wish I would have had them cut the flapper off, truck is a lot better sounding and a little louder at idle, drone isnt bad on the highway only when i am accelerating in V4 mode.
  4. i am going to have to try that. One of these days.
  5. ya that was before replacement I forgot to mention that now you have me wanting to try it again.. Plus my temp gun could be wrong its a (cheaper model)? It feels colder then 56* on low. With max fan speed. That bmw will freeze you out... be handy here in texas..
  6. i have no idea but I figure the 16 shouldn't have failed unless it was left over from older years?, but she blows ice cold air on low now (56-58*)
  7. Well I figured i would update yall, got my silverado back. Turns out the compressor locked up. Never heard of that one on a 16 but its warrantied..
  8. I am hoping it covers the 14-17 trucks? Called another dealer today, and asked him about it failing turns out its more common on SUV platform then the trucks... Truck will be going tomorrow hopefully and mine failed and i am at 16k and she is a year old:(
  9. Well i am not sure i am on this list..... will find out monday
  10. Thats for sure, do you think the cluster from the 16 esclade will fit? Also can you send me a pm of cost of programming, also can it be programmed to display what the ecm sees kinda like a scan tool? I do know to send you the info on the cluster prior to buying it
  11. thank you for that information i will probably have a shop do it along with the apline upgrade for the gmc. Dont care much for the chevy blue.
  12. That looks pretty nice. I am still trying to figure out if I want to do it to my chevy. What did it run ya if you don't mind me asking?
  13. Honestly i am not sure, I would think that it will fit. I dont have the front mud flaps or the rear ones (the ones in front of tire)
  14. Westin pro traxx, everyone loves them
  15. well my nerf bars came in, sadly enough i decided to instill them tonight, never done assist steps before so it went from 7:30pm-10:30pm by the time i got everything put away and cleaned up some. what took the most is locating the mounting points, then having to move my center mount due to i had it in the wrong hole, thanks directions. they failed to mention that the first 2 mounting points were threaded (they said the front one was haha.) pics are bad but man they look nice and it was money well spent
  16. Unless it changed it didn't work that way my 11 ram 1500 had the plastic fob and that key was for the doors and tailgate, but you could still start the truck without any batteries in the fob.
  17. Ya i was gonna mention that its nice, just flick the key and it fires off but downside is its troublesome on some older vehicles that dont have that tech
  18. Well maybe a good weekend my nerf bars are going to be here.
  19. Well getting these soon! Its from jcw and thats the %15 off deal they have %20 which is $44 off
  20. i got nothing to add to this but thank you for posting it, i got loaned a new 17 while my 16 was in the shop. i wondered what that sound was, far as surging i drive in M so i really cant say anything about it reading through the first page startup times seem pretty close to my 16 but i did notice in the same very short trip to work it seem to warmup faster? but thats prob due to the active grill shudders?
  21. Now thats nice and need to sticky it to keep post like this from happening May want to add what it requires or if it will rub?
  22. Thanks for the correction and link I did notice discount tire doesn't have much unless they are having trouble with the website? Edit just viewed the thread, and i came across that last night but thought it was another lift/level
  23. I know what fits with level and i did search this fourm prior to posting (do you give everyone the same speech?) Funny I thought you had to level to fit 275's?
  24. Ok not sure what will come first lvl or tires? Stock is 265/65/R18 But i was told by my dad that i can go 265/70/18? Hopefully he is right (i trust him) but can i run them or go bigger lock to lock? Currently there isn't a decent selection in my current size for load range E 10ply A/T. I am a believer in it, dads work chevy 3500, has it but in mud grips. Even the feed wagon has 10ply rated tires that truck goes over some bad roads that will kill tires..
  25. I went with the 5.3 would have gone 6.2 but not available in LT trim, I don't tow hardly probably will at some point , but i do enjoy the sound of the v8 plus i feel in ccsb the v6 wouldn't be stout enough. When added extra weight I dont race (unless its the time clock) just stick it in drive and hit the gas.
