  1. Boost Auto has them. They fit right in, newer model mirrors have different connectors so I had to get the pig tail wiring as well and do some soldering.
  2. With the help of pgamboa’s thread about tow mirror upgrade I swapped the manual tow mirror for the power fold. And swapped out the amber running lamps for the smoked colored lenses. I was one of the lucky few that all I had to do was change out the door switch and swap the mirrors since my truck came with the manual fold tow mirrors from the factory.
  3. I did not open the lid to confirm the wireless module part number, but I was able to lay my iphone 8 on there and it started charging. Left it on there for about 5 min and it seemed to keep linked up wih it.
  4. Phil messaged me back and said that some have reported this while others have not. So, this is what I did: I ran the blk/brown cable from blk HMI to brown usb inside the console. This feeds the usb hub inside the arm rest area. Checked and car play now works at the usb connection inside the arm rest area. My next thought was to run the green HMI to the input on the double usb connector of the front upper console part, and run the output to the usb in the glove box. This meant I would need the grn/gray cable, but I had purchased the blk/gray cable. And also would need a black to regular USB connector. Not sure if they even make this or not. But I had some wire cutters! i cut he blk/gray cable in half, and did the same to the grn to USB from the glove box. Swapped ends so that I ended up with the glove box USB with a black connector on the other end instead of a green. I then plugged the blk end into the output of the double USB hub in the front upper console and the other end into the glove box. I went ahead and ordered a new grn/gray cable, but just to test things out I spliced the left over ends to make a grn/gray cable. Plugged it in from the grn HMI to the input of the double USB hub in the upper front console and now have car play at all three USB locations! Go figure.
  5. Hey Phil, I rec’d the center console harness today. Got it all hooked up and was going thru and checking things to make sure it all worked. I did a 2018 console, blk to brn cable and the blk to grey cable, grn to blk stayed in the glove box. I did notice that the usb inside the console does not allow for car-play, but the front usb hub does, as well as the glove box usb. Is there anything that can be done to fix the usb hub inside the console to have car-play? I have owned a 2016 1500 LT and a 2016 2500 LTZ (both with center consoles) and on both the usb inside the console allowed for car-play. Thanks again for all you do here on the site! Much appreciated. Big Rog
  6. 10 ribs is correct. I have not had a chance to verify other than counting the ribs and the part# on top.
  7. No, that number is on the mat.
  8. Sorry, thats what I meant. Thats the number on the mat itself.
  9. This was the part number on the lid 23264394.
  10. Yes. You have to watch part numbers on that one depending on what trim color you have.
  11. Here is what came with my order... Also rec'd the side plates, bolts, bracket and cables, just not in the pics.
  12. The question was whether 84288040 actually comes with the updated wireless charging armrest lid and the back cover. GMPartsnow says it does. This is the quote I received from GMPartsnow that I posted on the previous page of this thread. This is what I ordered last week. Suppose to be here Monday 3/26. I will let everyone know what shows up after I receive it. . Regards, big rog (b-garage) Jim from GMPartsnow responded with a quote: Order Content Part Number Make Part Name List Price Quantity Total 84193710 GM Harness $35.87 $23.93 1 $23.93 84288040 GM Console $571.33 $387.36 1 $387.36 22776807 GM Console Assembly Front Bracket $22.10 $16.58 1 $16.58 23467516 GM Side Trim $35.73 $25.08 1 $25.08 22817347 GM Side Trim $77.43 $52.50 1 $52.50 84092080 GM Upper Trim Panel $214.28 $145.28 1 $145.28 11609982 GM Fender Liner Bolt $4.57 $3.26 2 $6.52 Subtotal Amount: $657.25
  13. Yes sir. The upper trim piece is now on back order though.
  14. I finally got an email confirmation from Jim at GMPartsnow that the console assembly 84288040 does come with the arm rest lid and back cover. So I ordered everything today. Will let you know if they were right when it gets here for sure.
  15. I still emailed gmpartsnow back asking for some sort of confirmation that the console part # does come with the lid and back cover, but nothing back just yet.
  16. Apparently that is a complete assembly with arm rest lid with wireless phone charging and back cover. I sent GMPartsnow an email inquiry with the VIN from a 2018 1500 LT 2WD truck. Jim from GMPartsnow responded with a quote: Order Content Part Number Make Part Name List Price Quantity Total 84193710 GM Harness $35.87 $23.93 1 $23.93 84288040 GM Console $571.33 $387.36 1 $387.36 22776807 GM Console Assembly Front Bracket $22.10 $16.58 1 $16.58 23467516 GM Side Trim $35.73 $25.08 1 $25.08 22817347 GM Side Trim $77.43 $52.50 1 $52.50 84092080 GM Upper Trim Panel $214.28 $145.28 1 $145.28 11609982 GM Fender Liner Bolt $4.57 $3.26 2 $6.52 Subtotal Amount: $657.25
  17. I sent them an email instead of calling. That way I have something in writing as well. Will let you know what they say as soon as they respond.

  19. From GMPartsnow website:
  20. I will call tomorrow and ask. Will ask too if it turns out to be not what they say it is, if they cover shipping back. Would think if you provide a valid vin# and get them to confirm it is the complete assembly that it would go back on them to pay shipping back. But need to confirm with them first.
  21. Well that IS interesting. The way Frank had all the part numbers listed out made it appear that those other pieces did not come with it. Like they were all ordered separately. Who's gonna be the guinea pig and order one to find out....hahah?
  22. I saw the part number 84288040 come up in Phils thread. Apparently that is just the main console piece, not the more complete assembly. Guy named Frank had it in his parts list along with separate part numbers for the arm rest and back part etc.
  23. Do you know what color that one is. It is cheaper than the other one folks have been ordering.
