  1. I dropped my 2017 Sierra off at the dealer yesterday (06/04/2019) for this exact same issue. When it happens my steering wheel will snap out of my hands and go back to center, dash lights flicker, truck shuts off, and I get error messages on the dash that range between "Service Stabilitrak", "Service Trailer Brake System", "Park Assist Off". Typically only happens when I am backing up but happened while driving at low speeds in the parking garage at work. It is exactly like the video posted in the thread above. I have checked and I do not have the ground issue in the front corners of the dash. The dealer called this morning and said there was four pages of codes on my vehicle all pointing towards low voltage readings but they were old readings that happened months ago. My battery is perfect and all the major ground points are secure. The service advisor told me that they are going to continue to look to find out what exactly caused the low voltage codes and get back to me.
  2. Does anyone know when the AT4 Carbon Pro edition will be available? Right now my plan is to buy a new truck around mid-late August but am considering waiting for the Carbon Pro edition. If this has been talked about before in this thread I apologize but I did not want to scroll through 50 pages to find it. Thanks for the help and congrats to all the new owners!
  3. My 2017 8-speed is going back to the dealer today for the third time in 4 months to address the transmission shutter. Service tech told me, "Since the first of the year we have received a new transmission fluid from GM that seems to fix the issue." we shall see.
  4. I am from Tomball as well looking to upgrade from my 2017 Sierra to an AT4. If you don't mind me asking, which dealer did you go to?
  5. My Sierra was making the exact noise all of you are describing. Only happened at higher speeds under load when I was entering the freeway or passing someone on the highway. I do have a Volant cool air intake and I thought it was from that maybe. Earlier this week, I had the truck in at the dealer to fix a transmission shudder. Since then I have heard no ticking. Seems to be a mystery to all!
  6. 2017 GMC Sierra SLT Z71 4WD w/ Premium Plus package. Nitto Trail Grappler M/T - 305x55x20 Rough Country 2" level Volant Intake and throttle body Wanted a little bit of rake in the rear instead of the "true" level but as a recent college grad I went with the cheaper option for the time being. My plans are to level it with Fox or Bilstein coil-overs and Cognito UCA's in the near future.
