  1. I don't have pics of the inside because it is pretty straightforward. I did not use any spacers with the stock rims. I just put on the 2" level in the front, left the back as is and threw the tires on there. There is rubbing on full lock, but nothing damaging. I have been running this setup for ~45k miles now and am still very pleased with it. I should say that after having a lot more miles on this setup, at full lock I am rubbing the control arm a bit with the tire, not just the liner as I said in my previous post. The liner I cut a tad off the bottom and stopped the rub there completely.
  2. Now just get my wife to remember this and we will make some progress. Every time it is pull once, look for unlock button. Every time I say, you just have to pull it twice.
  3. First one with an Xbox One X (Scorpio Edition) I guess. I mainly play Assassins Creed Origin and Destiny/Destiny 2 anymore.
  4. Too funny. My brother used to live in those apartments, and I visited him quite a bit. Glad you enjoyed the plate as much as I do edit: that was right after I got my truck... still has the red GMC!
  5. Interesting... looking back I was charged $420 for the truck registration this year. My truck has similar MSRP but weighs less since it is only a half ton. Sadly my last truck (2008 Titan) was down to $126 a year registration when I traded it in last year! Sales tax isn't really a correct term for what that tax is. It is actually a use tax. States charge the tax based on where the goods will be used (think buying anything online). Generally states are not that particular about it, especially if you have previously paid tax on it already, but then you have California... it doesn't really surprise me. I am sure they don't refund you any tax if you paid a higher tax rate than they charge. Pretty ridiculous how that state is run sometimes.
  6. I wouldn't worry too much, the truck was maybe half of that. I also register a 2007 BMW Z4 Coupe and Motorcycle that in included in that figure.
  7. You can't seriously be arguing that adding weight improves mileage right? I am in the camp that an extra 60lbs will not be noticeable but there will be SOME decrease with any added weight.
  8. It sounds a lot better while accelerating but not a loud idle still. I didn't notice much gas mileage help personally but it feels like it pulls a tad harder. I can try and take a video when I get back from vacation.
  9. It is a good looking truck - looks very similar to mine except it is white Was looking at Tundra's the other day when buying the lady a Camry and they had a 38 gallon tank listed. I had a 33 or 34 gallon tank on my last truck (Titan) and loved it as well. I am not sure why that isn't a more popular option.
  10. I am just chuckling at the Offroad package and 22" wheels. I picked the SLT over the Denali as it was ~5k difference for me and the additional features just didn't do it for me. Wasn't super impressed with MagRide personally.
  11. I have nav and still use Apple Maps (which are not even as good as Google Maps) over it all the time. I don't know why most would use the nav system let alone pay more for it.
  12. Hey guys... you really shouldn't believe anything The Government says.
  13. Here's mine. In Iowa my registration total is around $750 and the plates are only $5 a year additional ($50 the first year)
  14. My interior brightness adjuster also dims my screen. This works for me although it may not turn it off.
  15. Oh crap... A new problem I didn't know I had...
  16. If you paid $70k your friend ripped you off. Maybe he is just selling you the lemons that get returned? I dilike my clunky transmission in this truck but I have owned enough vehicles now that I know it could and usually can be much worse in terms of things you find that you don't like. My sensors up front have been getting iced over as well but there really isn't anything you can do about that, it is not manufacturer specific. If BMW or Mercedes made a truck (and it could actually work as well as cruise) then I would buy it in a heartbeat. Absolutely no issues with either of those brands for me, but that is about as far as my trouble free vehicles go. And yes, different auto memory setting for each key fob so that when there are multiple drivers they can each have their own auto memory setting kick in. It is quite smart actually.
  17. Read my post right above yours. It answers your question.
  18. From the Manual (edit: Page 196 http://www.gmc.com/content/dam/GMC/global/master/nscwebsite/en/home/Vehicles/Current_Vehicles/2017_Sierra_1500/Model_Overview/02_PDF/2017-Sierra-Owners-Manual_v2.pdf)
  19. This! About everything! Some people just think making up their own numbers and a small set of personal experiences makes them right or their suggestion better than OEM. So ridiculous.
  20. I am spoiled by the OnStar remote app. Lets me start my truck from any range
  21. Mileage has suffered a bit. I would estimate ~2MPG loss.
  22. Does the brand matter? Mine are Nitto G2.
  23. I am running 305/55R20 on stock rims and there is incredibly slight rubbing on the felt and on the control arm at full lock with a 2" level. Not enough for me to actually do anything about at this point. That would mean there would be a lot more rubbing with the 12.5" width as the ones I have are more like 12"
  24. I can attest to this, it is close but all I rub is the liner slightly when at full lock. 2" level, stock wheels, 305/55R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2.
  25. I get a clunk when I go right into reverse on startup and sometimes rough shift when I am slowing down, almost stopped, and then hit the gas again. All in all it shifts nicer than my dad's previous Ford (his 2015 is about the same as my new truck) and better than the 6spd I test drove.
