I’ll be doing the same with protection. I asked Viktorrocks15 and he used epoxy based adhesive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Exactly right. So us K2 trucks have to fabricate it all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

And...using a dremel for this precise cut is not my expertise. LOL. Good thing this was a practice run. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I took some time to draw out the switch placement needs. I’ll likely follow Victor’s method since I’m in between headlight switch panels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Dwight, I see thatGTPPrix already responded but also wanted to add to this. When I get asked about this upgrade, there are several phases for this upgrade that need to be considered. So when someone asks for a Denali cluster and they have a 2014/2015, I will ask if they’ll ever want to gain CarPlay/Android. I ask this validating question because say you invest in 14/15 cluster and later want to upgrade to CP/AA. The upgrade path would differ and new hardware would be required if you wanted to full functionality. Another example of this... I posted a video on YouTube on how to unlock your HMI and gain some near features with it. Since this feature is usually available on 2.5 HMIs, some of the features won’t work or are not available on older trucks (2.0 HMI) which means you would have to upgrade to that hardware (CP/AA) to gain the most out of the upgrade. Then once you get to that 2016 “spec” hardware, that opens up the ability to get a 2016 Denali cluster with the Blue lighting instead of red., etc etc. So as you can see, there is a lot value there dealing with WAMS as they will ensure they understand your full upgrade intention so that they can offer you a solution that’ll be so that you are only buying hardware/programming once. When I validate a customer on mirror upgrades and any other truck upgrades I offer products for, I try to fully understand your desired upgrade to offer a full path to that successful upgrade. Hope this helps and hope you can achieve your upgrade desires. #ModOn Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you try removing the headlight switch trim and fuse panel cover? There are several 7mm Bolts there. Also, the cluster visor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes, you sure can! You can send your HMI off to WAMS (www.WhiteAutoandMedia.com) to get Unlocked. https://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/product/2013-hmi-based-radio-iwm-unlock/ Then, pickup my Reverse Camera Adapter Harness here. https://harnessdr.com/product/2016-2019-silverado-sierra-reverse-camera-adapter-harness/ Here is a video I put together for this. This is the mirror set from Trail Ridge (sold by 1A Auto and AM Auto). The set was damaged so I was able to remove the lower knuckle cap off of them and use them in his build. I don’t think you can purchase these caps separate. https://www.am-autoparts.com/products/side-view-mirrors/AM-2558332961.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Puddle light to an OEM tow mirror? Like this? I did this for a local customer. I had an extra broken set of trail ridge mirrors that had the puddle lamp. I took it off and transferred it over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No. The lights won’t work like they’re supposed to. Also, need to understand if you’re an early 2015 or mid year. If early, you’ll need an additional harness for the inside cabin/under the hood. Here is how you can determine. If you’re missing pins 9 and 11, you’re early 2015 and need the additional cabin harness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Left/Right turn signal indicator failure
pgamboa replied to Johnny21750's topic in Troubleshooting & Recalls
Also, check all 4 bulb sockets corrosion at the tail light location and underneath at the junction box. Corrosion can cause resistance in the line. Clean out any signs of it and apply some dielectric grease. If that doesn’t work, might be a trip to the dealer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Left/Right turn signal indicator failure
pgamboa replied to Johnny21750's topic in Troubleshooting & Recalls
The hyper flash is an indication that a bulb is out or a change in the current draw when turn signals are used. The bulbs are dual filament. Turn on your park lights. Check that all 4 bulbs are illuminated. Then have someone step on the brakes. Do all 4 bulbs go bright? If all 4 bulbs are functioning in both park lamp state and brake applied state, then something is causing an difference in the current draw that the BCM is sensing. Are you the first owner of this truck? Are the tail lights factory tails? Did you install LED bulbs? Did you install LED tail lights? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
