  1. I agree with this. Does anyone know if Toy'nope'a holds a patent on this or something, i mean they must if no one else is doing it right. I originally wanted a sliding window for my dog in the back but mine has the premium/defrost and no sliding window. I even bought my canopy with a sliding window. Since the canopy's window can only be manual I had intended to swap to a manual one in cab too. I kind of gave up on that idea after reading a bunch about pet safety in accidents and learning that there is really no safe place for an animal in the event of an accident. Air bags are lethal to a lot of pets, and I figured having your dogs head through the rear window is just a possible decapitation waiting to happen.
  2. I highly doubt it is worth wiring up. Better off just going with a manual window if it is must have. I mean anything is possible but it would cost a ton i bet, so much it might even be more financially feasible to trade it in.
  3. Well they are changing seat manufacturer in 2018 so it appears even GM is not satisfied with the seats. http://thenewswheel.com/next-gen-silverado-sierra-will-have-better-seats-thanks-to-better-supplier-contracts/ Lets just hope they have the good sense to add rear seat vent too.
  4. Oh I do not feel bad for you just the truck At least she found a loving home.
  5. Arn't you the fellow who had the hail damaged truck too with fiberglass hood? Your poor truck has been through the ringer, and then to be sliced up it just a sick joke or twist of irony. Hope they can clean it up for you! Its looking much better now!
  6. Got my 'Seatbelt Recall' 2015822B Performed. After much bitching back and forth with GM we basically settled on them replacing the whole side of the seat. This is what the part looks like if you order it from the factory right now. It is better than the hackjobs .... somewhat and at least is a clean machined 'cut'. Still not 100% satisfied but at least I can say it was not sliced up. I know the service manager did his best in forcing GM to replace the entire piece at their cost so I am grateful for that, at least we stuck it to GM and made them cough up and spend hours of manager & regional manager level labor rates because they cheaped out trying to save a buck. "Lo barato sale caro." The cheap comes out expensive
  7. What color are you doing, I have seen a couple done up and honestly did not like the colors ... to me at least they were too flat but I have also seen just black which looked very sharp. I am thinking about doing my sides up around wheel well as here in BC Canada we have what is called a west coast paintjob when your paint is all scuffed up from trees and bushes overgrowing on trails. I would like to plow right through that stuff some day myself.
  8. yes. twice the tax and half the freedom. but at least we have an oveburdened and abused health care and education that pumps out sjw idiots.
  9. This picture is the epitome of freedom! Where I am from they would treat you like a hardened criminal for doing this. Something tells me nothing is futher frim the truth.
  10. Good for you for running a cheap lift kit that adds 0 functionality and removes your payload capability. The reason you did all that was GM not RC *facepalm*. As they say you get what you pay for and that goes doubly true for a lift. Anyone running a RC lift get laughed at where I am from, saying Rough Country is any good is kind of like saying a Honda Ridgeline counts as a truck. It is the cheapest stuff around.
  11. erm Rough Country is the cheapest aftermarket products hands down. I would not put anything with a RC label even 10 feet near my 50,000 truck, ick!
  12. look forward to the how toos but seems screwy that all of the idicator lights are messed up. like were you meant to black out the un used one(s)? seems like it should not have been terribly hard to copy the location of all the indicators correctly. I remeber back year ago some people printed their own backdrops for thier clusters using polymer(?) sheets and they turned out much the same as the product you got. Have you ever seen or considered this?
  13. dafaq. so sorry for having an opinion different from yours. And showing you some sources. feel free to ignore it if you like but perhaps others like correct info. For the record if you have been waxing on top of sealant you have been doing it wrong for years but do not take my word for it go ask a pro. It is your truck though afterall and just a truck you can paint it hot pink and use spray on turtle wax or none for all I care.
  14. carnuba wax is a sealant. Been detailing for years it is most used type. http://www.autogeek.net/qude101 ammo nyc does a good video on the difference between carnuba wax and a synthetic sealent. A good wax is better overall imo if you do it yourself. better finish and easier to redo, just wash with dish soap or another that will strip the wax and reapply in a couple hours. Make sure to use an auto soap that says will not strip wax between. Not knocking the sealants depending on your mileage is may be better for you if you want a longer lasting and dont care about finish aka do not want that showroom look. But generally you should use one or the other not both as they are both a final step.
  15. wax is a sealer. what did you use?
  16. Call a locksmith a good one can do this. Cheaper too. not 100% sure about fob.
  17. I like the color matched fogs. Nice touch!
  18. That sounds right ... I mean should be no potential for them to deploy if you removed the fuse and and power. Make sure to wait for any residual power to drain, resistors and what not along the circuit path can hold a small charge. But I also want to say do not take my word on it not like I have done it. I do not know if you are on good terms with your service center but is there any chance you could get their assistance or direction in removing/disconnecting the steering wheel. I got them to help with my lights originally for free and just asked nice and brought some timmy's in for them, I knew the steps but was unsure/paranoid about breaking clips so it was helpful to have a guiding hand, I did all the work they just pointed out how and where to pull that sort of thing. Your service manager/adviser should certainly be able to look up the 'OEM' steps for you at minimum. That is what I would do myself anyway.
  19. As long as the video is now advertiser friendly, contains no vulgar language or suggestive material. And the subject matter is appropriate and does not offend anyone safe space. YouTube's new terms of service for monetization. Liberalism = Fascism except is just a group of people telling you what to do and how to think instead of one Hitler =D
