  2. Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep is owned by Fiat, an Italian company. It is about as far as 'the TRUCK company' one can get except of course for being a Honda Element. I prefer column shifter to a stick shifter, I think they are just goofy on an automatic.
  3. Judge by the plant it looks like the wife took over the garage ... poor bastard
  4. How many HP does that mod add? I might have to use this while out camping sometime.
  5. We all hate you, or it could just be jealously. Nice job. Can you give us a ball park cost?
  6. You have to swap out the LED boards in the headlamp which mean cracking open the whole thing, using a dremel to remove OEM and gluing in the new ones. Then you put it all back together. Not for amateurs that is for sure. This video only shows the last step and they have already removed and cracked open (or more likley for thier purpose bought one that was never installed)
  7. Ouch that was silly. And not street legal any more you need to have amber marking lamp mark the outside dimension of your vehicle at night. Good luck I mean I hope you dont get called on it but you totally could be. I think it is silly that the white LED would not count personally but they have to be amber according to FMVSS article 108 (vehicle exterior lighting), which really needs to be updated but alas government moves way too slow. I believe the reflector is also a requirement. Edit: Just double checked to see if you could add like marker lamps on the mirrors and comply but alas they have to be affixed to the permenent structure of the vehicle you can have additional ones but you have to have at least one on each corner affixed to vehicle itself. Bet most cops do not know that bit though Cracking those open again to fix that will not be fun. Fingers crossed From Article 108: SIDE MARKER LAMPS Lamps which show to the side of the vehicle, mounted on the permanent structure of the vehicle as near as practicable to the front and rear edges to indicate the overall length of the vehicle. Additional lamps may also be mounted at intermediate locations on the sides of the vehicle.
  8. Did you remove or change/paint the 3157 marker/turn signal? I thought those would have illuminated with the amber switchback LEDS
  9. DO it. I got quote from my guy 1200 for bottom and up around the natural wheel flare. Love to see the pics. I live in a place where 'westcoast paintjob' is a thing and it means when you have your sides all scuffed up from branches which have overgrown the paths / trails.

  11. I have seen it (not on a K2), it looks badass in the black 'premium' or whatever it is called Line-X. T.
  12. Canada not Alabama unfortunately.
  13. Na was wondering if anywhere near my area and could take a look at it or recommend a place. The hood is nice, might want to take note of any weight difference if you are an anal type of truck owner like me. Also it is an actual functional 'ram air' style hood as in directs to air box or does that 'hood scoop' just go into engine bay (or is it just fake, hard to tell from pics) *Half off really is not a bad deal at all if you have body shop connection, the bed itself would be the only if was heavily damaged, It is a rolled piece of steel so cannot really be 'worked' at all just body filled. Some people might beat me over the head for saying it but do not be too afraid to look up paint guys on craigslist etc. Of course vet them but knowing a few myself I know they often do side jobs and you basically get same quality and same dude that would do in a shop for much more. Case of beer and $50 + supplies and I would paint that hood for you good as any body shop since most of the prep is done. I would even detail it after . I am in Canada though.
  14. 2 Question why did you install before painting and where do you live? that poor fender needs some tender love
  15. 295 only tells you the treadwidth. Metric Tire size. First number is you treadwidth Second number is the amount of rubber from rim to edge of tread measured as a percent of the tread. ex 55% or x.55 Third number is the Rim size.
  16. You should contact Rough Country directly as only the manufacturer can guarantee fitment. The forums can only offer opinions, not that I dont love these guys but one should always get that info from the manufacturer as there are literally thousands of lift/level/tire/wheel combos. I would double check your tire size before calling as stock should be 275/55/20 which is 31.9 inches. 275/70 would be a 35.16inch tire so that is definitely wrong. For reference when changing tire size you want to do it in this order: 1) Decide what tire size you want to run ex) 35x12.5 2) Choose a lift that will allow that tire size ex) Procomp 6 inch lift 3) Finally select a wheel that is a guaranteed fitment by the manufacturer ex) 20x9.5 -6offset - You can go outside of that fitment depending on if you are trimming or body lifting but then we are talking a custom offset and each one is unique, you would need assistance from a pro shop in that case. 4) If you get to step 2 or 3 and you find yourself outside of your budget or tastes return to step one and start over. It sound like to me at least that the OP is doing things in the wrong order.
  17. I am no GM tech but I had an old '86 S10 with exact same symptoms. It was the ignition coil and condensation was the issue, truck obviously has power but is not getting enough juice. However I realize saying that and there being like 30 years difference. Mostly just saying it is curious.
  18. I always look at the tires first and those are nice. Am I the only one that does this?
  19. This guy does a good Q&A on the diff in lift kits Watch it you will be glad on your purchase vs. that rough country. Shows you the diffs.
  20. I would trade my warranty for a Magnuson Supercharger today if I could. Any takers?

  22. Look great and mcgaughys is good stuff. Far too clean though now, go drop it in the mud!
  23. I have the contrast stitching as well. Probably just part of the HOU interior which we probably both have. But Z71 bagdes and my wheels were $950 option.
  24. Do you have the all terrian logo and pattern dash? And they were only Bucket seat right? I went for a bench. Our trucks are nearly I identical options but I only got the regular flat black dash as is no Z71 dash in GMC .... apparently. *woulda coulda shoulda canada!*
