    Hey thanks for the info! I got a couple more questions tho?. Did you need the spacers to clear the calipers or just for the look. Were the factory wheels studs long enough to take the spacer and the wheels no problem?

    I did at first, then I realized that they weren’t sealed correctly. So I wedged wood shims between the window and the vents over night and that fixed it. Now they don’t warp and the auto window up works fine. No issues since.

    Did them myself, Obxman had a write up on it. It’s really easy. Pry ONLY where the red arrow is. There is a tab indicated by the yellow so DO NOT PRY there. Amazon has every vinyl pattern imaginable. Just read the reviews for a good one. Think I spent $15. The Z71 badges take a lot more work. Wax dental floss them off. Remove all the 3M adhesive. Then you can CAREFULLY remove the red from the chrome. Paint, then reassemble and apply new 3M tape.

    I had them wrapped. A lot of shops wouldn't touch them, said they were too complicated (the Grill). When I walked in to the last shop and saw the guy wrapping a new McLaren I figured he knew what he was doing. Eventually I'll probably swap the out for painted bumpers from a wreaked truck. New bumpers from GM are too expensive right now.

    I found one on Ebay ($50) that had a couple broken tabs on the back, which was perfect for me. I just took a Dremel and cut off the remaining tabs and secured it with 3M Molding tape. I was worried it wouldn't hold well, but it's been a few weeks. It's been on the freeway, thru rain, and touchless carwashes with no signs of it coming loose.

    -Access tonneau cover -Dealer sprayed bed liner -Westin side steps -Chrome delete front/rear bumpers and side mirrors -Added chrome piece below the bumper -blacked out Z71 badges -Tinted tail lights. -Stubby antennae -AVS vent visors -Carbon fiber vinyl over the wood grain on the doors (shoutout Obxman7) -Illuminated Bow tie (shoutout BeardBros) -Window tint -Xpel’d the hood -Swapped all incandescent bulbs for LED’s -Wheels 20’s from my ‘16 on till I figure out what I want to do for 22’s -fogs coming soon

    Do your in-channel vent visors affect the auto close of your windows? I had AVS in-channel on my ‘16, and I couldn’t use the auto close feature. It would get close to closed and then reverse open (safety feature I assume). I would have to stop it right before the visor and keep tapping it up till it closed.

    Did you have to install resistors for your LED tail lights?

    What the part number for your cover, and does it allow the tailgate to drop automatically?

    Dale_K My exhaust was replace once already under warranty. The new one has the same issue. The dealer should replace yours as well. I did notice that the loaners I was given did not have this issue. Both were '16 Silverados.

    I have the same squeaking sounds on my 16 Silverado. It's due to the exhaust valve closing improperly and forcing exhaust back into the muffler and out thru the drain hole in the exhaust. The dealer has replaced my exhaust once already and that has not fixed the issue. They tell me there is nothing they can do because it's a design issue. This is all after 75% of the truck had to be repainted due to factory paint imperfections. Traded my '14 for this '16 big mistake so far.
