  1. This was an odd one. I did not see a notification that said an update was going to be downloaded, nor did I select one manually. In the past, I was notified if an update was going to be installed and that it could take XX amount of minutes. The message on the screen (picture posted) was the only notification I received. This is how I handled the situation and it worked out for me. I believe it helped that I needed the dealer installed software update already. The dealer was able to fix my issue at the same time and did not give me any issues.
  2. Curious if anyone has experienced this issue, and how it was resolved at the dealer. I am out of warranty by miles, so trying to get an idea of what the dealer is going to charge me and what I am going to fight since I feel like this is GM issue pushing an update I didn't ask for. I still need to visit the dealer for the software update that was issued last year, maybe this is part of the update? I've tried the radio reset- nothing, I unplugged the battery for a couple of hours - still pops up with the same message. No stereo, no chimes, the only thing that works on the screen is the backup camera. Did some searches on google and most of what popped up is from Reddit, I'll take their feedback with a grain of salt. If there's a thread on here, please link it and I'll catch up on the topic.
  3. His tires are only 11.7" wide and tires shouldn't be anywhere near the calipers...I dunno, I haven't been under one of these new trucks so I could be completely wrong. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  4. Nice truck though. Saw your second pic, I likey. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  5. this. His comment doesnt make much sense. More negative the offset the more the wheels stick out. Most factory wheels are around 27mm or so, I dont understand how an aftermarket wheel that is 18mm offset wont clear a caliper especially with it being a 20" wheel. Maybe the tires were hitting the UCA with the 18mm offset and the wheel being 1" wider than factory. OP, any pics of the clearance issue? I know the calipers are a new design so I could be missing something. Some random math because alcohol: -10mm is only ~.39 inches. Difference between factory and aftermarket. - new wheels are 1" wider so .5" on each side. - maybe with the wider wheels and tires there is uca contact. I just dont see caliper contact. 6. Looks like they took it down from the supplier and the family first website. These things are sitting in dealer lots and we cant build them online, I dont know what they are doing. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
  7. This is the first time I have seen the trucks hit lots before we can build them on the website. GM also has their driving impressions embargoed ( for media) until Monday the 13th but regular people can go test drive them now. Not sure what GM wad thinking here. 8. Please tell me what I am? If your going to say a " long time Chevy fan who has been disappointed since 2013" then you are correct. If you're going with troll then you would be wrong. Also, I am pretty sure I have had this account for awhile but have not posted.
  9. This is why ford will win the truck battles. They offer their highest rated motor in almost any trim ( yes I know not the raptor eco). I can get the 3.5 eco with the 10spd in a XL, Chevy is making me purchase a Ltz or HC. Back to Ford I go, hi ho hi ho.
