  1. Think the biggest difference there is going to be that you can still get a HC with NHT. Just have to forgo the packages that include 22” wheels and then order the other options separately. On the Denali you can’t get NHT even if you skip the Ultimate package and stay with the 20” wheels. Been that way since at least the K2s. Assume it is suspension / ride related.
  2. 2019 LTZ 6.2 NHT crew cab short box, 1914 lbs
  3. Yeah, ZQ8s. It was a fun little truck, and very economical... 2.8 5 speed. Also had a 1990 4.3 5 speed 4x4. Sold them both about 10 years ago. Wish I would have kept at least one, because I just don’t see any around anymore. All rusted away in these parts.
  4. Never noticed that until you said something. They sure do remove them in the press photos. Sierras have the same antenna in the same place.
  5. My experience with the stubby antennas is that you ALWAYS lose reception, to some degree. I’ve had different brands of antenna on a few vehicles and it’s always been the same. Same with any built-in windshield ones. Personally, I’m a big fan of the Homer Simpson antenna. Did it on both of my old S10s. Don’t think I have the heart to do it to the Silvy though...
  6. They all have it. On the bright side, radio reception is quite good. They do sell aftermarket stubby antennas which maybe look a bit better. Personally I don’t really even notice them. The Ford’s is more apparent because it comes out the side of the fender.
  7. Everyone here should flood their email and / or phones as I have done.

  9. ‘19 2500 is still the old body style though. Why they eliminated them on the T1 is beyond me. I’d have to assume it was some kind of cost cut.
  10. Nope, they are gone, not available no matter how much you spend.
  11. I would love to hear it if you ever get a chance to make a vid. I know the weather around here isn’t the greatest for it right now.
  12. The emblem just pops off real easy. Took literally two seconds. It’s held into the grill by four tabs. I just used a plastic trim removal tool to pop one side off, and then pop the side other off. Didn’t harm the old emblem or the grill in any way. The emblem has the colored insert and a chrome surround that is all one piece. You could certainly paint it but I’d still remove it to do that. And then you’d have to spend some time masking the chrome surround around the gold bow tie.
  13. It’s an OEM one from the dealer. I had a $100 GM accessories voucher from buying the truck so it was “free”. Otherwise I think it would have been like $70 bucks. Pretty expensive for what it is, that’s for sure. But not nearly as expensive as the lighted one that was also tempting me.
  14. It shouldn’t be too difficult for one of them to go look in the glovebox of another LTZ or HC sitting on their lot, but I know how that goes. I’ll try to get a photo and / or part numbers of what I have in a little bit so you can go in next time armed with some more information. They aren’t cheap and you definitely should get them. If I had to guess, someone doing the PDI or whatever took them out thinking they were extras? No idea.
  15. Sorry, couldn’t see you had a High County from the mobile site...Advanced Trailering/ Trailer TPMS is standard on LTZ and up, so yours must have walked away. I’m not surprised that nobody knows what your talking about. My salesman didn’t know what they were for. But thankfully they were included.
  16. Mine came in a plastic bag in the glove box. I assume you also have “ZL6” in your RPO list as noted in that image? Do you have the trailering app on your infotainment? Does it give you the option for trailer tire pressure setup in the advanced set up menu?
  17. GM financial is pretty much outrageous and not even competitive. When I bought my last truck they came in at like 6% and I got it through TD auto finance for 2.19 with excellent credit. Obviously rates have gone up a bit in three years since so I would expect GM financial to really be putting the hurt on people now. My dealer didn’t even pull them this time around as none of my rebates were tied to their financing, and I think he knew they were going to be a rip.
  18. I haven’t seen it done yet, but past experience with the previous generation would lead me to believe it’s not likely to be plug and play. GEN5DIY makes adapters but nothing for the ‘19s yet. I’m sure you know, but you’d need a new grill too as the LED headlight shape is different (smaller).
  19. Got my black bowtie on today. Think it was a must for a black truck.
  20. Emblems look great. I’m a bit torn on the black inlay. I probably wouldn’t, but I could also see it looking pretty cool. Lots of help I am...
  21. If you don’t wear your seatbelt, the buckle will sometimes rattle against the pillar if it’s turned the wrong way. That’s the only noise I’ve heard in mine.
  22. I have heard that about Ford’s, but the ones we’ve been having don’t seem to be related to debris/ salt. This started happening to me with 250 miles on my truck. The thing was spotless when the dealer looked at it. I really suspect this is a defect within the “trailer lighting control module”. If the part is made in Mexico, their electronics are notorious for poor quality solder joints. Stuff gets cold and the cracks in the solder open up. If it was just a software issue I assume a fix would have already come down. I hope we will find out soon enough.
  23. Woke up to my truck having a world record number of warning messages probably due to the cold. Service Brake Assist, Service ESC, Service Steering Assist, Speed Limited to 62, Trailer disconnected, Lane Keep Assist Disabled, Parking Sensor Blocked. Check engine light, brake light, ABS light, stability control light, and parking brake light all on. I’m going to give it a pass because it’s -19 degrees out, but my goodness. I have an old VW with 205k miles that doesn’t have this many problems with the weather. My old diesels never did either.
