  1. The top piece of the dash is easy to remove. I don't have any photos, but you can do a YouTube search or search on this site.
  2. I absolutely 110% love the Diamond Audio Sub! Zero problems with it. I installed the bass level knob up front on the dash - it adjusts bass level perfect. I have the larger-option under storage seat box, the sub fits no problem. It does take up a fair amount of room, but I still have quite a bit of storage available. I highly recommend this sub!
  3. 2023 GMC Sierra Elevation. I replaced the factory manual folding mirrors with the power fold mirrors, task lights, cameras, and puddle lights. I know the pin on the mirror that lights the puddle lights. Does anyone know where to connect the puddle lights to so that they will come on when the doors are unlocked? Thanx
  4. I confirmed that Pin 5 works to turn the puddle lights on (test bench checked). When I finally get some time to do the install, would the power source come from K9X6 pin 4 (door unlock)? If so, do I need to install a time delay (off) relay so the puddle lights stay on for a number of seconds, or does pin 4 keep power on for 10 to 15 seconds? Where did you power your puddle lights from. Also, has anyone got their driver's side mirror dimming to work? That should be Pin 17. Where did you connect the power source to?
  5. Been super busy at work. I have a few days now to get everything working. Trying to find the proper connectors to fit, as the OP has the wrong size. I really don't want to push the wire through the connector and fold the wire back
  6. What are the pin numbers on the mirror for the puddle lights? Where do they connect on your truck?
  7. I now have the factory mirrors with camera, puddle lights, perimeter lights, blind spot indicator. Controller, switch, and wiring are almost done now. I want to connect the puddle lights so they work. Does anyone know how to connect them? 2023 GMC Sierra Elevation
  8. I used a mini fuse tap and connected it to the parking light fuse under the hood. Works perfect for cab clearance lights I installed
  9. My truck is the 2023 Elevation with 360 cameras and front perimeter lighting. I cannot get any aftermarket mirrors that are set up for the 360 degree cameras. No auto wreckers around have mirrors or anything on the new trucks. May have to look at getting factory GM mirrors...
  10. Yes. The "add a fuse" is a smaller amperage that the original fuse, so it will blow first if there is a problem (no problems at all)
  11. I have the factory LED lights on mine. Connected to the "park lights" . Something like a 5 Amp fuse. No problems
  12. Dumb question: Pink K9 X6 module pin 2 (lock) and Pin 4 (unlock) connected to the controller. Is this only required if you want the mirrors to fold/unfold when doors are locked/unlocked? If a person ONLY wants the mirrors to fold/unfold with the momentary toggle switch, can we skip connecting to the Pink K9X6? Thank you.
  13. Easy to do. Used same measurements as from a 2500HD. No problems. No leaks, Power wire connected under hood with "add a fuse" connected to park lights.
  14. You should be ok. My Elevation has the center console with the factory Bose speaker between the two bucket seats
  15. Stereo had to be turned up a bit to give the same volume level as original Bose speakers. Yes, Bass was better, but still very weak. I wanted the 10" powered sub to go under the passenger seat - I wasn't sure about hiw the rear heating du ts would affect the subwoofer. How are you dealing with that?
  16. 2023 Sierra 1500 Elevation with Bose Premium system. First, I'd like to thank all the people that have upgraded their systems, I've learned lots! - Replaced rear speakers with JL Audio C1-650x coax - Replaced front door speakers with JL Audio 690tx tr-ax speakers (Crutchfield says "does not fit", but it does. Not sure if front door speakers are full range or not, but I had the speakers already, so I installed them - Dash speakers are Pioneer TS-A709. They work perfect, just cut off the high-pass filters. You will still hear the phone, signals, etc. - Still, no base, so I installed a Diamond Audio DPAS10 powered 10 inch subwoofer. The wires to connect to are the blue/grey (left pos) and the Green/Black (left neg) wires, easily accessible on rear passenger side under the door sill . I installed the Bass Control knob on the dash beside the upfitter switches previously installed. Sub fits in the factory option under seat storage, held down with 4 strips of industrial velcro. I will be drilling some holes in the factory storage lid so the "lid rattle" is no longer a problem. Photo below shows the sub install - room on passenger side and some room on driver's side for storage - I'm still using the factory Bose amp and may replace it in the future, but the set-up so far ROCKS!
  17. I found out the hard way. I had to take the dash piece off again, cut the crossover out and reconnect everything. Works perfect now.
  18. Works perfect !
  19. Got the answer! Remove the high pass filter if you use the Pioneer TSA-709 2.75" speakers. Just finished. Blinkers work perfect. Phone works perfect. Speakers are great!
  20. I have a 2023 Sierra Elevation. I am replacing the Bose premium speakers. I went with JL audio for front and rear doors. For the dash speakers, I am using Pioneer TSA-709 2.75" speakers. They come with an in-line high pass filter (850 Hz and higher is the pass-through value). Now, when using my Android Samsung S23 Ultra phone - I cannot hear any voices from the Nav or phone calls. Before I take the dash apart - would removing the in-line high pass filter fix the problem of not hearing Nav voice or phone call voices? Thank you
  21. Do you have some photos of your aux tank and fuel pump? I'm in Alberta as well (Edmonton). Thanx.
  22. Do those lights come on when you open the truck doors?
  23. Thank you! For your power steps - did you install the lighted power steps or the non-lighted ones?
  24. When you look at Page 7-363 of 2023 Sierra 1500 Electrical Body Builder Manual, Pin 1 of K9 Body Control Module X1 - it shows "not occupied"
