  1. http://vibratesoftware.com Good stuff here. Now for android
  2. I did and yes much better however I have added larger tires rated at E. Only time I feel slight vibs is going up or down a hill. I'd say I'm 99% free of vibrations
  3. Can you point me to this information on tires please
  4. After putting ajustable Bilsteins and load range E tires on my truck the vibes went away maybe 80% of the time. So then I started messing with air pressure on the tires. They are a good sized all terrain tire with max pressure of 80psi. I originally had them set at 50. Now I dropped them to 40psi and it rides very well. Much better than stock and vibe is 99% gone. Only time I feel it slightly is when going up or down inclines overpasses etc. Don't know if this helps anyone but thought I'd chime in
  5. I routinely have approximately 500 plus pounds in my bed. Sometimes probably closer to half a ton. Does nothing for my vibration
  6. Thats a big hit on mileage. If you didn't correct thru a recalibration of your computer then you are really getting better than what you think
  7. Very very sharp ! I'm probably going with same tire and size. Would like to know your opinion of them. My truck and rims are same as yours except for color. Haha
  8. I was checking on various Sorbothane products. Interesting stuff but I don't have an exact location of my vibe issue and dont want to spend a ton of money on a crapshoot. I'm going to start with doing something with my rear leafs eventually
  9. Ok so who is going to be the first one to try to dampen vibrations by clamping or bolting a plate of steel to their frame?
  10. Pinion angle is important. Yes it changes with a heavy load or hitting bumps etc but it has a range of motion that it works thru and as long as it's within spec it is smooth. If it's off from the start it doesn't work right and you can have problems with u joints and vibrations
  11. Can anyone tell me where I can find information on what correct pinion angle should be? Can anyone tell me where I can find information on what correct pinion angle should be? Can anyone tell me where I can find information on what correct pinion angle should be?
  12. Can anyone tell me where I can find information on what correct pinion angle should be?
  13. Old drag racer here. Familiar with cal tracs. Also if I remember correctly you need minus 2 to 3 degrees of neg pinion. But I have no clue what specs are for our trucks
  14. That's just probably the cal trac u bolt unloading from leaf spring.
  15. So you are saying that your pinion angle was off? Or do you think your original driveshaft was bent or out of balance?
  16. Thanks. I'm going to do some research. A friend told me that you can just use a yolk in trans but I don't see how it would fall out
  17. I have a question for all of the guys out here who are mechanically inclined. Would it be possible to remove the rear drive shaft put in in 4x4 and drive to eliminate drive shaft and rear end as cause of vibes. If still present, reinstall shaft, then take out front shaft to eliminate front shaft/diff as cause? I'm almost positive this can be done but not sure what you can use in rear of trans to stop spillage of atf and also front of transfer case. Any trans gurus in this thread?
  18. Your truck sits exactly how I want mine. Nice ride. Those tires measure out at around 34" tall correct? I would do the same height but on 18" rims
  19. I was planning on running bilsteins with lower spacer. Was looking for 2.25 inches or so. Not 2.5. Plus cognito uppers. Why do you suggest top spacer instead of bottom? Still getting schooled on IFS front suspension. All other trucks I had were solid front axels Thanks in advance
  20. Also I have the Goodyear wrangler sra 265 65 18's. Anyone else have same tires?
  21. Well I got 3 new tires as I mentioned earlier in this hellascious thread. I thought my truck was better but the ride home was horrible. Vibrations on every road surface including new blacktop. I must say that this is the most expensive vehicle I have ever bought and it is by far the worst riding I've been in... my last truck was an 05 Dodge Ram 2500 with over 170k miles and it drove like a Cadillac compared to this. I also own a 2000 TransAm with a road race suspension. , roll cage. All aftermarket from front k member to Strange rearend and it rides nicer than my 2016 professional grade piece of $!&+ Sorry. Off rant for now
  22. That doesn't look like a 3.5 inch lift to me !
  23. They didn't try anything else? Seems like they are just throwing tires at it without trying to diagnose issue
  24. Well picked it up. It's better but I don't think it's 100% gone. Maybe 50% better. I'm going to give it some time and see...?
  25. Going to pick up Sierra. Dealer replaced 3 tires. I'm skeptical that this fixed it
