  1. Front end noise

Bumping this thread, as mine is doing this as well. A single pop/clunk every time I back out of my driveway. Sounds like drivers side front suspension area.
  2. Anyone seen this?

Hard to see, but check out that rear bumper. That's a crappy job.
  3. Clay bar will usually take the rail rust right off.
  4. Enough that I dropped my subscription. Drove my wife’s Jeep this morning and hers does the same thing. So it’s not just our trucks.
  5. 2019 Ram

I'm hoping both the Chevy and Ram trucks improve their front ends in their mid cycle refresh. Not a fan of either front clip and realistically that'll be about the time I'll be shopping again.
  6. 2017 Grill in 2014 Silverado

I'd at least get your money back.
  7. 2019 Ram

I'm a tech guy, I really like the new Ram interior. I've owned a Ram and always found their interiors to be nice and comfortable. The Navigator, I'm not a fan of. I don't like the look where the touchscreen looks like it was just tacked onto the dash. And the floating console probably doesn't offer much storage. And that maroon/brown.. Seats look nice though.
  8. I don't have any Sears' around anymore, so no telling who they're outsourcing jacks from now.
  9. I'm pretty indifferent to the shifter location (last two trucks had console shifters), but wouldn't mind the push button start. The wife's Jeep has that and it's pretty nice to just jump in and go without fumbling with keys. The wide open console is great, but my wife just fills it with more crap when she rides with me.
  10. I've had the Craftsman 3 ton for probably at least 10 years. Still works great. Get a good set of Jackstands as well.
  11. 2018 silverado

Maybe it's true, maybe it's not, but I've always felt like my rental trucks felt detuned, or they just have a super high gear ratio.

It's been pretty bad lately for me too. But, my Chevy isn't any worse than my Tundra was, or my wife's Grand Cherokee. XM Turbo seems to be the worst, Lithium doesn't cut out nearly as much. I let my trial expire, and I still have most of the channels. I primarily use Pandora though.
  13. Off Road will be better, but on road cornering will suffer a little bit. Truck should ride a little smoother.
  14. Unsprung weight. Those tires are heavy. 14.5 mpg if you're really almost all highway is still low though. Is your speedometer/shift points recalibrated for a larger tire?
  15. I've owned vehicles from Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Jeep, Nissan, and Toyota. I've joined a bunch of forums. They all have one thing in common: Catch can threads. Going by that logic, every vehicle needs one. But, I'd wager that less than 1% of vehicles on the road have one.
  16. Tundra and Denali

I traded my 14 Tundra for my 2017 Z71. The Tundra is a good truck. The GM twins ride and drive a lot nicer though. I do miss that my wife hated driving my Tundra and never took it. Now she's racking up miles on my Chevy while I'm at work. Hopefully dropping XM radio helps with that. lol
  17. On Star is a joke...

    That's XM Radio.
  18. Unable to Access T1XX Forum

    I can't see it either.
  19. On Star is a joke...

My trial just expired this past week. I only know this because of the email bombardment. I just don't in 2017 see the value of keeping it in my truck. I refused to do the welcome call at the dealer. It's just a way for OnStar to get your card on file to autorenew.
  20. Jealous on the 6.5%! I had to pay 10.5% here. Glad you were able to get into something new!
  21. Having a good dealer makes a huge difference. All makes have their quirks, but a crappy dealer will make it a nightmare.
  22. KO2 Tire, 20k mi review

That sucks to hear. I've heard that from several people, but my brother has them on a Ram, and after about 25k they still look new. So I really don't know what to think about them.
