That was it... dealership replaced the battery under warranty.

actually yes, its still on its original battery. Being the truck is only 2 1/2 years old, wouldn't have guessed that this could be a battery issue. Truck is at the dealership now and they're working on it. When they call back I'll ask about that if they don't bring it up first.

I have a ‘17 GMC 1500 Sierra Denali and I’ve recently started getting some error messages. First, a couple weeks ago I got an error pop up on my info screen stating “Action Require - Open Then Close Driver Window”. I rolled down the window and had to manually roll it back up by holding the button. The one touch up wouldn’t work the first time. The 2nd time I tried it worked ok. Was ok for a few days but them came back later that week. Then there was this past weekend. Got the window error again, rolled window down like before. Was in a long line at the dump with a load of yard trash to dump when suddenly I got a “Service Brake Assist” error come up on the dash. Hit the dismiss and continued on my way. However, every time the line inched forward the brakes were very touchy and grabby when coming to a slow stop. Got the truck emptied at the dump and proceeded to continue on with some errands. Once home I was checking emails & found two “Advanced Diagnostics” emails from OnStar. The first stated that there was an “issue with the Antilock Braking System in your 2017 GMC Sierra”. The second one was “an issue with the StabiliTrak stability control system”. Both emails stated “Please service your vehicle within 7 days.” Just dropped off the vehicle at the dealership for them to check it out. hopefully I’ll hear back from them in the morning. Anyone have similar issues all come up at the same time? What was done to fix it?

your 18" wheels may have a little less back spacing than the OEM 20" wheels.

G2 Axle & Gear. Got 'em at Summit Racing. quality CNC'd hub-centric billet aluminum spacers.

with a level kit, tire rub will increase ever so slightly. Especially if you go with a wider tire. For me I did a 2" level kit and changed to 285/55r20 tires. This change did increase the tire rub on the upper control arms slightly over stock. 1 1/2" wheel spacers fixed that right up & stance is so much nicer now.

for 54K this truck sounds like a pretty good deal. Sounds like it'd be a blast to drive + its already set up with plenty of goodies. I'd consider it if I totalled my '17 Denali & was looking for a replacement.

Here in N. Nevada I occasionally get frost on the rear window. Doesn't happen often, but when it does & I use the remote start it'll defrost the rear window even though I have it turned off in the settings.

The studs did NOT need any trimming. There are pockets in the back of the week that the studs fit into. However I wouldn't go any smaller that 1 1/4" spacers if someone is not wanting trim the studs. As for brand, these are by G2 Axle & Gear. Got 'em at Summit Racing, but was told by a sales guy at 4Wheel Parts that these are made by the same manuf. that makes the Bora Spacers. If that's true I don't really know as that was from a "sales" guy & who knows if he's right or not. I will say that are very well made billet aluminum spacers with very similar design to Bora. They were also the only quality spacer that I could find locally.

Quality spacers are the 1st step. #2 proper install & check torque on a regular basis. After initial install, check after about 100 miles or so. Then recheck at each tire rotation, +/- 3000 to 5000 miles.

No, slightly bigger with 285/55r20 which are about 3/4” taller & 1/2” wider than 275/55r20’s. On the truck my BFGs are nearly an inch taller than the stock Goodyear SRAs it came with. With a 1” spacer, yes you’d need a wheel with 3/4” deep pockets or more. The other option would be to trim the end of the stud some. There is room to do that as there’s about 1/2” of stud length that’s not threaded or used.

Pulled the trigger on some 1 1/4” spacers for my truck. Install took about 1.5 hours as I was taking my time, did test fitting at each wheel, made sure everything was clean, then made sure all were installed correctly. Here’s a pic of how she looks...

For the record, I removed a wheel & measured the depth of the cavities in the back of my 20” Denali wheels... a 1” spacer wouldn’t work for me. The studs are 1 3/4” long & the depth of the cavity is only 1 5/8”. A 1” spacer would be at least 1/8” short of what’s needed to work. Here’s a pic of what the back of my wheels look like... I decided to go with 1 1/4” spacers & they’re exactly what I was looking for.

Only a 1” spacer? I would have guessed at least 1 1/4” or 1 1/2” would be needed. I have the factory 20” Denali Wheel which is different that the regular Snowflake wheel. I also haven’t taken the time yet to remove a wheel and check the depth of the holes in the back.

stock wheels & 2" spacers? How much do the tires stick out past the fenders? You wouldn't happen to have any pics available would ya?

Hi All, I have a '17 GMC Denali 1500 with 2" level spacer upfront & 285/55R20 BFG K02 on stock Denali wheels. Love it so far! One issue though... I do get some light rubbing on the front of the upper a-arms, both driver & passenger sides. Who's tried adding spacers to this kind of set up & what width of spacer would be used? I'm leaning towards a 1" spacer, but not sure if that'd be too much. Thinner spacers may work too but worried about how well they work or if they create issues.

Which Corsa system did you go with? How do you like the sound and is there any drone or any weird tone when in V4 mode?

Do you have that gap or opening when the cover is open? I know my truck does have a bit of a gap at upper corners of the tailgate. However, they were there before I installed my Bakflip. I don't get any water in my tailgate though.
