  1. Maybe quality of the steel Gm is using for rotors .? Quality seems to be going downhill more and more.
  2. No such thing as a deal here in Canada. Not sure where you're located but up here they'll take you for everything you've got....lol. Absolutely criminal.
  3. Very happy for both of you ! Thanks very much for posting your opinions and experiences. I'm hoping to get back into a pickup truck after trading my 2018 Denali Ultimate 6.2. Praying these insane prices will drop somewhat, I won't be holding my breath but anything is better than nothing. Glad to hear good things about the 3.0 Duramax. Enjoy...
  4. Thanks for all the replies Gents. I can still remember the deluxe cloth seats (bucket) in my 1998 Sierra 1500 Extened cab with the 3rd door. Wow...they were phenomenal . 3 hour drive to cottage, no sweat. 6 hr trailering up to Kirkland Lake,ON for a snowmobile trip and always had a smile on my face when I got to my destination. I'm dying to take out a refresh Denali or AT4 and really experience what some of you are talking about. Thanks again, Joe
  5. She's coming along very nicely. Slow and steady....Can't wait to see it when it's done. Keep up the good work Frankie
  6. Pretty hard to tell; from underneath as sound is reverberating off asphalt. Almost sounds like a squealing belt or pulley ? not sure honestly. Maybe a video with the hood open. As other person said " Let the dealer diagnose it " ...that's what warranties are for . Good luck, please let us know how it works out and if they are able to pin point the problem.
  7. Hello Gents, Been awhile since I've been in the truck market, coming from a 2018 Sierra Denali Ultimate with the 6.2. I had absolutely no issues with my previous truck as fa??r as power, comfort and reliability were concerned. It was a beauty of a truck, really miss it. I really love the new refresh on the 22 and newer Sierra's especially the interiors. What I wanted to ask is about the seats. I've read that many owners of Denali's are complaining that the seats are extremely uncomfortable and very hard rock like especially on longer trips. How do they compare to the seats in the AT4 ? Just not sure if there is a cosmetic difference like stitching, colors or is the seat cushion, foam, design and shape different in the AT4 compared to the Denali. I believe both models are heated and ventilated seats ? Any opinions or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys, Joe
  8. Pretty sad after a person just spends 80 K on a vehicle and there not willing to swallow a couple hundred bucks if that for a lousy carpet...
  9. 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Extended Cab Z71 .....cloth gray buckets...best dam seats I've ever sat in. I could've drove to Australia if there was a road.....lol.
  10. By any chance a bottle of water stuck under the seat ? Heater core was my first guess. If a passenger you had previously spilled something should have dried up by now ? If it persists wouldn't hurt to take it to dealership. Good luck.
  11. First off, Congrats on the new truck. I hope to own an AT4 someday, just hoping the prices settle down somewhat. I bought a 2018 Sierra Denali Ultimate with the 6.2 back in July of 2019. Here in Canada, dealership only had 3 trucks remaining. Two in White Frost Tricoat, and 1 in Onyx Black. As much as I love black, I went with the White Frost Tricoat instead. No longer have that truck and kicking myself in the ass everyday. I can't believe they discounted in $8,100 off MSRP ? I have been hearing stories of people paying over list price for these trucks because of availability ? Hopefully, the lots start filling up with inventory and some better incentives come along. Enjoy that beautiful new AT4.
  12. Be careful to make sure it's GMPP. When I bought my 2018 Denali I didn't realize the lady who did the financing paperwork had sold me a " Tricor " Extended Warranty. According to her that's what majority of her customers go with. I never really used it, and I sold the truck after only two years got back almost all my money. Warranty was around $2,500 or so, got back $2,100. Other than that I can't complain. But not sure if dealers will discount them, that's a cash cow for them. Don't believe the " unfortunately it's a set price " crap. Anything is negotiable. Good luck
  13. Wow.. almost 5 months, that’s crazy.
  14. Gentlemen, Thanks to each and everyone of you who replied. Yes, time is definitely on my side as what is starting to happen up here is that a lot of dealership lots are starting to fill up with vehicles. Not like many years ago, but also not empty like Covid times where you could land a 747 in several dealership lots. Yes, buying new certainly has its advantages over buying used. I know the 6.2 in the AT4 wouldn’t match what I was getting in my 18’ Denali. I will just standby for now, hoping that at some point incentives and prices are going to come into play. I realize there not gonna drop drastically, but something is better than nothing. Thanks again, Joe Happy July 4th Happy Canada Day Cheers
  15. Greetings folks, I’m a former owner of a 2018 Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate. A truck I truly miss and regret selling, but at the time thought it was the right thing to do. Recently I’ve been looking at some used 2018 Denali’s for sale here in Ontario, Canada and like every where else prices are astronomical. Which, brings me to my question. I’m not really a fan of the 2019-2021 re design of the interior on both Silverado and Sierra 1500’s, but very happy with the exterior redesign. I think they did a great job on the refresh of the late 2022 models and into 2023 especially the dash cluster and console. I had the 6.2 engine in my 2018 and loved it. I’ve since fallen in love with the AT4, it’s a beautiful looking truck. With today’s prices not sure if I’d be able to get back into a Denali Ultimate (100k plus) here in Canada. So, I’m asking for advice on recent purchases made for both the AT4 and Elevation models. I don’t really tow much at all or do any serious off roading. Keep hearing a lot of good things about the Duramax 3.0 newer version engine and wonder how it would compare to the 6.2 in an AT4. Sorry for the long post fellas, I’m not buying any time soon but just wanted to get feedback on everyone’s opinions, experiences with these newer models. I’m hoping that GM has resolved the lifter issues. Many thanks..
  16. Hello Everyone, I had the pleasure of owning a 2018 Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate with the 6.2 engine for just over 2 years. Absolutely the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’m in Canada, and the fuel prices got stupid crazy about 1.5 years ago so I ended up selling the truck. I now regret that decision every day. If you’re truck isn’t giving you any serious problems or issue’s….Keep it. Up here a new fully loaded out Denali or AT4 lists for over $100 grand easily . It’s insane…….
  17. I’ve never encouraged any problems on my 18 Denali Ultimate, except when lots of snow and ice has accumulated in the crevice where mirror is folded in for the night. Have to make sure I brush it out or mirrors won’t open fully. Other than that no problems....
  18. I don’t have the link unfortunately. I saw it when you first go the website for GM-trucks.com. It’s right on the home page. Currently only a TSB for 19’ and newer model years.
  19. Morning folks, I recently saw this article regarding this issue with some of the listed vehicles experiencing a no start or long cranking situation when starting their trucks/SUV’s. I have a 2018 Sierra Denali 1500 and can honestly say numerous times when starting my truck I noticed that the starter is still continuously cranking the motor over for too long. Hard to explain, but I’ve also noticed this a lot this winter when using the factory remote starter from key fob. Is anyone else experiencing this with 2018 or older models ? Thanks, Joe
  20. Can’t remember exactly in my brother’s case, but I believe once the vehicle or load is on the trailer you go and adjust the bars with the short chains on them leveling out the rear of the tow vehicle as well as the trailer tongue. Been a long time , can’t quite remember....
  21. Good looking rig dude ?. That’s quite the deep dish on that rear wheel....how does she ride ?
  22. Very classy looking truck. Is that the stock hood ? Never noticed the hood grilles or scoops ?
  23. Gorgeous looking rig...High Country ? Are those Bridgestone stock 22”’s ? I’ve never driven with them on my 2018 Sierra Denali. How do they do in the snow ?
  24. 2018 Sierra Denali Ultimate here...this is the first I’ve ever heard of this issue. Hope you get er sorted out...it can be a real pain ...
