  1. Rubber decal/adhesive removal wheel in a drill. You're welcome.
  2. I just purchased a set of DL3 mirrors from a member here and installed them on my 2017 LT with Phil's harnesses. It took me about an hour on the driver's door since this was my first time removing the door panels and I was following his instructional video. Very easy to do. The passenger side took me 15-20 minutes because I knew exactly what I was doing by then! The harnesses and mirrors work great! I'm just waiting on the power folding switch to arrive Wednesday so I can utilize the folding function and the install will be 100% complete. Phil is great and communicates quickly if you have questions. I highly recommend! My stock harnesses are boxed up to go back to him so he can pay it forward to someone else and I can get my $100 back! The hardest part of the install (for me at least), was getting the five retention clips along the tops of the door panels (along the window) to release. Those things were TIGHT!!! The chrome mirror caps that came on the DL3's broke tabs (as expected), but I was able to remove my painted ones without breaking anything and transfer them over to the new mirrors. That was nerve-wracking, but I got it done.
  3. That's my problem...they didn't send those washers in the package. They have sent me some new bolts with those captive washers on them that look like yours. That should solve my issue.
  4. Do your lower linkage bracket bolts look the same as mine?
  5. Thanks for the reply. Would you mind taking a pic of the lower bolts on your linkage brackets please? I am in talks with Amp and I believe they sent me the wrong hardware. I am waiting on an answer from their engineer. This is what my lower bolt looks like....it is loose in an oversized sheetmetal hole and there is no washer under it. Before I can get close to 16 ft-lbs, the sheet metal begins to bend and distort into the recess in the bottom of the linkage bracket. They are sending me a new controller for the light problem. The lights worked fine for 2 days and then all four just quit. I know it isn't a wiring problem because they worked for two days and I didn't touch anything or even move the truck.
  6. This is awesome! Will be next mod for sure! Thanks!
  7. Put my AMP steps on...and...... just like everyone elses, the front gap vs. rear gap is uneven AND all four lights quit working!
  8. Well, I got the AMP steps installed this weekend....was not really a fun project even with the plug-n-play. The alignment of the steps against the body when retracted is annoying. The front of the step is lower from the body than the rear. Research shows this is common on the Silverados. I like them otherwise.
  9. I DON'T like it when dudes stare at me....whether discreetly or indiscreetly.
  10. I just found the lowest price I could online (which was some sketchy website I wasn't comfortable ordering from) and asked them to match it. They beat the price by $1 AND threw in free overnight shipping. I just got them an hour ago in fact.
  11. The color-matched front ends look nice when new, but bugs, road rash, etc. will soon take it's toll and it will look like hammered doo. My last two trucks had color-matched front ends and both looked like they had been sand-blasted on the front. My new truck has chrome and it's still niiiiiice.
  12. I'm in the deep South...Louisiana.... 23 might as well be -12 for us thin-skinned folk down here!
  13. I have 35x12.50s on stock 20s with a 6.5" lift and I come close to rubbing in the front in certain scenarios. Hard to imagine you could run 35s with just a level kit.
  14. I just ordered my plug-n-play Amp Research steps from AutoAnything for less than $1,200 with overnight delivery! I'm excited to get these and put them on! I will be selling my OEM 6" chrome running boards in case anyone is interested. Only been in use for 3 months and look showroom new.
  15. Walked into the garage with plans to wash it....opened garage door.....NOPE! not today! 23 degrees here this morning.
  16. I hate subsidizing all the left-wing and religious nut jobs on XM radio. Yet, lucky for me, my radio doesn't find itself tuned in to those stations.
  17. I'm sorry, but the "adjacent body shop" would be the ones who are "super tired" had that happened to my truck! No way in hell would I have clay-barred and waxed the truck myself.
  18. You are running the same wheel/tire combo I am. Looks good. Have you measured your tires? I did when I calibrated my speedometer and they are only 33.75" mounted. That's why you think they look small.
