  1. Evening everyone, out of the blue I've started experiencing what I think is known as the chevy shake. I've taken my 16 truck to the dealership and of course they say it's normal but it's definitely not. My question is, in the event I have to change the driveshaft what is a good recommendation?
  2. When is the "clunking" occurring? It wouldn't be when you're giving it gas and let off would it?
  3. Understood, just wanted to get y'all's opinion on it. Like I had said, upon hundreds of people saying it's great, I found 3 maybe 2 articles stating the negatives. I'd rather real people's opinions. Also yes I agree about oil and stuff .
  4. Evening y'all, I know the subject of AFM either deletion or disabling has been beat with a stick but as I was doing some digging I came across a couple of articles that had me wondering. So I recently just ordered a Range for my '16 5.3 and am/ was eager to install it but.... I read that when disabling AFM in the long run it can hurt the motor i.e. lifters. My question is, has anyone been running a AFM disable tune/ flash for a few years and had any issues? Thanks guys
  5. Thanks for all the info guys. Been monitoring it like a hawk and so far so good.
  6. Morning/ Afternoon, I have a question about over filling your oil with the newer silverado's. I recently just changed my oil since I got my truck about 3 months ago using the 0W-20 mobil 1. I put in 8 quarts exacly (without filling the filter). let it sit for a second then started her up. Truck ran for a couple of minutes then I shut it off, let it sit for about 10 min and checked the oil. I was not able to read the oil level as accurately as Im used to due to how freaking light the color of the oil lol, so light! I drove it for about a 100 miles, let it sit then checked it again. oil level was right above the hatch line if not right on it so I drained out just a tad to make me feel better then checked again. Now its sitting just above the top dimple but still within the hatch line area. So I guess my question is... Do you think over filling that much would be enough to damage any internals or pump? Any insight is very much appreciated, thank you.
