  3. I’ve got an 18 Silverado with the 5.3 L. It has been great and then around 50k miles I get a add engine oil light. I added 1.5 quarts to get the dipstick to read normal. Did some research and found the AFM stuff so I got an AFM disabler and let my V8 be a V8. Now at 61k- I get another add engine oil light!! This time I had to add 2 quarts!! Anyone else seeing this issue? My last Chevy (an 08) I only had to add a quart every 3 months or so, but that was after 150k. Thinking about trading for a different engine (diesel). Was just thinking about this after changing a flat on my wife’s Tahoe and then looking at my factory spare compared to the 34’s on my truck.   9. Looks like I'm about to have to do it on my 18 Silverado! Unfortunately mine has the 1234yf coolant, which is much more expensive. Has anyone done it with this one?
  10. I have an '18 Silverado and I am also a victim of the AC condenser leak. Mine has the new 1234yf coolant (that is EXPENSIVE)- I am about to swap out the condenser and was wondering if anyone had back converted to the R134a? I was going to do the UV test, but finding 1234yf UV test isn't easy- especially when what I have found is the regular threaded cans (not reverse thread like the 1234yf cans). Any input is helpful!
