  1. Really? I wonder about how far back that post is. I read back several pages before posting and I didn't notice it, but could have missed it by accident
  2. Dilemma guys... I have the 5100s installed on the highest setting, and I’m having a pop noise when turning at slow speeds in the front end. I also hear a different pop sound that comes from the steering column. I had the shop that installed the shocks, double check their work and they tightened down everything to specs. And yes, they did a full alignment. My question is, have any of you all had the 5100’s installed and had front end issues and once you took it into service, was it covered under warranty? I have a full extended warranty on mine, but just curious how it may go before I go in. I’ve been told anything 2” or lower should be covered... but that’s just what others have said. Any help or opinions would be appreciated - thanks
  3. Just had them check over everything. They drove it and checked it 3 different times and couldn’t find as issue. I watched them tighten everything and double check everything. I guess it was something already wrong before I got the shocks added, so now I have to hope my extended warranty will cover it workout being voided. I was told since I added shocks and struts versus just a spacer kit it wouldn’t void anything. Now I can only hope
  4. Okay thanks a lot, I will definitely mention all of that as well. I’m hoping that’s all it is, a lose bolt or 2
  5. Okay thanks, when I take it to the shop I’ll mention that
  6. Hey guys, I had my bilstein 5100’s installed 2 weeks ago and the ride and look is great, but I’ve noticed a pop in the front end when turning at slow speeds. I notice it most when I’m at a complete stop and then crank the wheels and begin to turn slowly. I never had the noise before hand. I purchased and had them installed by 4 wheel parts... I took my truck in to them yesterday and of course I couldn’t get it to make the noise while in the parking lot for them to hear, so I made an appointment to have them fully inspect it this week. Has anyone else had this issue? I have the shocks set at the highest setting, but should I lower it down to the 3rd setting? Any help or recommendations would be highly appreciated!

  8. Okay, that’s reassuring. I was thinking 1.5-2” tops to raise the front up
  9. My 2014 Silverado Crew is sitting stock right now but I would like to have it leveled. I've read many people had issues down the road once they lifted the front so I was wondering if there is a way of doing so without the negative suspension issues? I don't plan to add bigger wheels or tires, just like the leveled look so clearance or rubbing is a concern. I have the stock chevy 20's - thanks
  10. How’s the sound after you had this done. I’m thibking about removing my resinator too. I just had a Flowmaster 40 installed
  11. I just added a Flowmaster 40 in replace of the pipe from the the stock muffler delete. It has a nice low rumble and when I get on it, it can be heard even better. Not sure if I want to take the resonator off yet...
  12. Thanks I may try that route. It may be asking too much but do you recall which model muffler it was, or one you recommend?
  13. I really just want it a little louder than stock. Not looking for anything super loud or aggressive. Just enough to have a slight rumble and not have too much cab noise. The tone of the muffler delete sounds like an exhaust leak to me now, it just lacks the lower tone I like. I'm iffy on removing the resonator because I don't want it super loud
  14. I’ve been running a muffler and valve delete on my 14 Silverado for a couple months now. It’s definitely is louder that stock, but I’m not satisfied with the tone too much. I’m thinking about just adding a Flowmaster or Magnaflow on while keeping the resonator installed. Has anyone just swapped the muffler and kept the rear resinator in place?
  15. When you had the Flowmaster 40 on your 15, did you only replace the muffler or did you also dump everything behind it?
  16. I recently did a muffler delete and flap delete, but kept the resonator/rear cat in place. The sound is a lot louder than stock, but a little more of a "popping" tone than I'd like, if that makes sense. So I'm planning on adding a muffler back in place, I'm thinking flowmaster, as I'm just looking for a low rumble versus the higher pitched tone. My question is... is there a muffler that would make the tone of the exhaust sound nice without removing the rear resonator/cat? Or would it be best to just remove it regardless? I'm not looking for a crazy loud truck, just a smooth, low rumble.
  17. About long did you have them before you noticed the bubbling? I'm personally not a huge fan of running boards, but due to the same reasons (wife and children) they are pretty much required lol.
  18. I’m looking to get some running boards for my 14 Silverado. I like the ones that hug tight to the truck and don’t stick out very far. I’m pretty sure I want to get some that are stainless with black inserts to compliment the wheels and bumpers, but I do like the all black boards as well. Any recommendations ? - (Sorry about the rotated picture, not sure why it did that)
  19. I live in the Kentucky, we have pretty usual seasons (spring, summer, fall, and winter). Nothing too bad when it comes to winters in terms of a lot of snow/salt
  20. Thanks for the ideas... I’m unsure whether to go with stainless w/ black inserts or all black running boards. Also whether to go with round or flat boards... I’ve been checking out others pictures but still indecisive.
  21. 14 Silverado Texas Edition. Going to purchase a tonneau top soon. I also need to get some running boards, but can’t decide on which look I want. Love everyone else’s trucks by way!!
  22. Traded in my 2014 Impala 2LT for this 2014 Silverado Texas Edition. Still at the dealership getting a couple things done I requested so don’t have any great pictures yet. Love everyone’s trucks and modifications. Tint will be the first thing I do when I pick it up.
