  1. I wish I could take credit for the build. One of the salesman at the dealer spec'd it for himself, then after the owner of the dealership found out, given no one was getting trucks at the time, they sold it to me. Needless to say the salesman was a little PO'd. I just wanted out of my '19 1500 and knew I needed to get into at least a 2500 to get away from that damn 10 speed they used in the 1/2 ton. Who knew at the time, I'd actually be kicking myself for not looking for a 3500 because I want to get a truck camper and I'm gonna be pushing the weight limits with my 2500. BTW, mine's a standard bed, not a long bed.
  2. Here's the door sticker on my 22 2500HD with Duramax and 20" rims. I never really cared about it and only went to a 2500HD because I hated the 10 speed transmission in my '19 1500. Now that I'm looking at adding a truck camper, it's become important.
  3. I did the same about a month or so ago. Traded in my 2019 High Country with 32k miles for a 2022 High Country Duramax. Got $49k for it. I lucked out on the find. One of the sales guys had ordered it for himself and when the owner of the dealership found out and given their hard time getting new trucks, he pulled it from the sales guy and sold it to me. Needless to say the sales guy wasn't happy because not only did he lose the truck, but he wasn't my salesman.
  4. Agree, like the quad tips, but think the standard valance tips would look better on an otherwise stock looking truck.
  5. Damn. I must have a lead foot. But then I was at 75 on the highway, not 55.
  6. I year you - I'm got around 18-19 today but that includes a long highway run. It was at 11.9 when I got it with 79 miles on it, so my MPGs are slowly creeping up. I think the average is at 16 right now. I do admit it's hard to not drive aggressively with that 6.2 purring away.
  7. Thanks, just wish it didn't ride on 22's - At least they're not spinners.
  8. Thanks, the confusion is from coming from a vehicle with adaptive cruise that uses the identical controls. I had set the gap and was surprised when I was approaching a car and the vehicle wasn’t slowing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Two Things learned - Gap Setting confusion - Came out of a 2015 Suburban with adaptive cruise control (hated it most of the time) and found the same settings on my HC, so figured it was adaptive cruise control given all the other "safety" features in the High Country package. Nope, no real idea what it does, but sure isn't anything to do with adaptive cruise control. Apple CarPlay and navigation - the HUD and Driver Information Screen will only show navigation when using the onboard navigation but not with when using Apple CarPlay (Assume Google is the same) That's too bad. I tried to "trick" it by using both but engaging one navigation will cancel the other.
  10. Thanks and just what I need another forum teaching me how to spend money LOL What a difference from our 2013 LTZ.
  11. Just home with a blue High Country. We needed to downsize, so traded in our 2013 Silverado and 2015 Suburban. Truck is fantastic and love having the 6.2L. Compared the the engines in the other 2, this has some balls. The interior made my 2013 seem like a dinosaur. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
