  1. Damn, I made a mistake...the drain plug is 30 ft-lbs, not the actual bolts. I was going off my G2 cover install instructions. Glad you did further checking.

    I would ask @pgamboa but I’d really be surprised if it wasn’t a direct swap. The only difference that I’m aware of is the cluster panel inside the whole assembly. I doubt GM or any manufacturer would spend the extra money or design a lens just for one model...not saying it doesn’t happen but I seriously doubt it on these trucks.

  4. Has only been 6 months for me and you are spot on...cold starts will make your neighbors love you but beyond that it’s very livable. Any of the Borla systems are well designed and sound better than stock. I didn’t keep my stock exhaust, around here you can get a fairly new takeoff for about $100 but you have to be on a callback list since most just cut it off and throw it in the recycle dumpster. I guess the thing to consider now is that the K2 is pretty much done and the exhaust upgrades will slow so it might be a good idea to keep the original if you have room.

    Is it compatible with stock rims? If so I wonder if I can just order the UCAs to replace my stamped steel. I have the RC 2.25 level.
  7. Good Lord...I can’t even fathom being in that. That right there is dangerous to even be in.
  8. That’s a great way to empty, very easy and mess free. I put the little Pyrex on my spare battery tray, open both valves and have a Coke...after the Coke, I close both valves and take the Pyrex out, put the lid on and just put it on the shelf until next empty cycle. I’m only saving it for the first 1000 miles to show others how it’s working. I’ll empty it after I get to 1000 miles and from then on. No mess, no holding a water bottle, so same easy empty as you have just different procedures! Love the no mess part.

  10. I think part of it is the can we run. Don’t know what you’re running but they all help to some extent. My can(s) are mounted on the fender too away from the extreme heat, still gets hot but you can still touch it after shutdown.
  11. Well Mike, this is a running total at 650 miles and the Pyrex container is pretty small...still I am completely happy with the results so far...here is a size comparison for reference. All I know is this is not making it down to my intake/valves!
