  1. If Max tow capacity is 9,400 lb, add the vehicle weight empty and there you have it. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable towing more than six or seven thousand pounds with a half ton truck. I race motorcycles and tow an 8.5x18 trailer the 7 ft interior height. It's under 7,000 lb loaded but that's about all she can handle comfortably.
  2. I wouldn't even consider it in a half ton truck. The thing is like a huge sail, it's going to blow you all over the road.
  3. Its 2020, physical media is dead. Put your CDs on a flash drive or stream like the rest of the planet.
  4. They are OEM 275/50/22's
  5. Maxtrac Suspension (712120) 2" Rear Lift Shackle for RAM 1500 . I know it's crazy but that's the ones. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  6. My junk is a work truck. I don't drive it to the grocery store, I don't take it to the mall on weekends, it doesn't play in the mud. It goes to job sites and collects big checks during business hours. I've worked too hard to pretend I'm broke driving around on Home Depot rental wheels. And yes, I live in South Florida. I escaped those crappy winners 10 years ago. Maybe when Im all grow up, I can learn to use my truck "as a truck". ?
  7. I'm still dying to know how you use your truck "as a truck". Post up some pics of your awesome machine, I'd love to know what a real truck looks like. [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  8. No, they are OEM take offs. I was actually shopping on eBay and I saw a banner in the background of one of the pictures. This shop was about 45 minutes away in Tampa. Called him up, Cash deal, $2,000. They had about 20 different sets of 22 inch take offs. GM only makes about 5 different 22in wheels for the 2019 and up trucks. They are different because of brake caliper clearance. I picked the chrome snowflakes and I call them my winter wheels, lol. It's a Florida thing... Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  9. You can't tell me that doesn't look better....
  10. I don't understand you guys knocking the 22-inch wheels. My truck looked like a Home Depot rental with the factory 18in wheels on it.
  11. "Screams I don't use my truck as a truck" [emoji23] My lowered truck on 22's is a full time service vehicle (money maker). It also tows an 8,000lb 24 foot racecar trailer up and down the East coast. So how do you use your truck "as a truck"? Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  12. Here's the 2018 on 20 inch wheels. That was a nice looking truck.
  13. I had a 2018 Silverado and I decided on 20 inch wheels. I tow a race car trailer and it's a daily driver so I was worried about ride quality and towing characteristics of the 22 inch wheels. I now have a 2019 Silverado and went with the bright chrome 22 inch wheels and love them. It's a different truck but it rides and tows like a dream. 22 FTW
  14. Thanks for the advice, I didn't even know they were a thing. Makes a dramatic difference for sure. Thanks again. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  15. I need to do the same thing, subscribed Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  16. Find another dealer? I really appreciate the advice but I'm not shopping dealerships for a rental car policy. Thanks again Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah, GM dealers will not rent non-gm cars period, full stop
  18. Rear fender liners, I didn't even know they were a thing. I'm really liking the way this truck rides and drives, it's a work truck and I drive it everyday. It's better than stock for sure. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  19. I have a 2019 LT and I want to do the same thing. Where'd you get that console?
  20. I'm ready to do the full console swap as well, any idea on part numbers and availability?
  21. I want ahead and put the 2" lowering shackles on the back and it set the truck perfectly level empty. After I put in the tonneau cover, decked storage system and loaded it with tools it dropped it another inch and a half so the front end was higher. No airbag manufacturer makes a kit that works on lowered 2019+ trucks so I did the belltech 2 in drop spindles. It sits real nice now with a half inch rake, when I put the race trailer on the back it levels it out and tows like a dream. This thing actually rides and drives better than stock, I'm really impressed. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  22. I got this one from Amazon, it works great. You adjust the vent downward just a touch and it won't affect air flow. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  23. How deep can you go in the back before a flip kit? Do they make a 3" shackle? I was thinking about 2 inch spindles and shackles in the rear. 2/2, 2/3. I did a 2/4 drop on my 2018 with flip kit and 2" lowering springs, Im wondering if spindles would be a better option? The 2018 2/4 drop on 20's The new truck at stock ride height on 22's
  24. Phil, you're killing me here. So you're saying for under $1,000 you can get an OEM center console in these things? Is that a new center console? shipping?
