  1. Lowering it to 4” is pushing it I’d think. Maybe 5” so raising your front end 1” but 4 seems like a little much. They are meant for 6” length, so what you see in the photo is 6” setting.
  2. Thank you!! Your instructions helped tremendously. Have all the room I need now to drill holes for my air lines [emoji1690] Not having to remove the seat just the back is a huge plus.
  3. I removed the icon stuff because I sold the truck, I’m selling all the icon stuff separately since I knew I’d lose out big time if I sold the truck with it all haha. If you went with the 4” and increased preload to raise it to 5” it would make the ride worse, not terrible, just worse. Not sure about doing a 6” and lowering it to 5” though. Give bds a call or even call Icon too, they’re great for answering questions.
  4. BDS 6” kit with custom Icon coilovers, I’ve since removed all the Icon components because I sold the truck but I was very happy with it especially with the adjustable damping (CDCV). More in control and less bouncy.
  5. I do not but agree it’s quite ridiculous since it’s only $50 for FOUR if ordered from factory.
  6. I think I’m good. According to this brochure I found it says the advanced trailer package is standard on high country and includes the TPMS module. Not to be confused with the TPMS Sensors which I would still need to buy, but the functionality is there.
  7. Great info, although very odd if that’s accurate. I see quite a few trucks without the PTT option. There’s gotta be a way to still add that functionality especially because these trucks are meant for towing and hauling. Now it makes me wonder about mine. I have the trailering app but my truck didn’t come with PTT from factory, I have a silverado high country. But I fully intend to add 6 TPMS to my fifth wheel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Was this the GM black sticker? If so I’m wanting to do that too!
  9. Bump Lots of you with 6” lifts out there, could be better though [emoji6]
  10. [edit] the below info may be incorrect, see redwngr post below mine. Silly dealers, never ceases to amaze me the lack of knowledge. It’s just silly what they charge after the fact. Some options I get it, makes sense some options would be cheaper to install at the factory during assembly. But TPMS Sensors are just loosely thrown in the glove box! They will work on your truck, you don’t need to program the option or anything like that. Your truck is ready. You will have to have your truck “learn” each sensor but you don’t need the dealer for that.
  11. More pieces to the puzzle arrived! Woohoo! I’ve slowly been chipping away at my custom air compressor install, re made my own harnesses, completely took apart the supplied harnesses, its been a fun project. One of my last steps is to install the air lines, I still need to buy a short and long stainless steel air line but I needed my air bags to arrive first so I could mount them up and know exactly how long I needed. Air Lift 5000 ultimate bags arrived tonight and I partially assembled them, if it’s not raining tomorrow I’ll throw them in the truck. Never had air bags before, or an onboard air compressor, super stoked!
  12. Well now I’m definitely confident it’s directly related to the tinting process, gotta be something to do with liquids, then fixes itself once it dries. I had all windows tinted on my 2019 1500 when I had it and don’t recall having this issue. Now I want to know what it is exactly! Haha
  13. You should be good in the morning, super frustrating I know. But both times mine went back to normal within 12 hours or less and then perfect since.
  14. I never checked the low beams but the high beams are negatively switched, meaning 0v=on and 12v=off. I’d bet the low beams are the same which would be a good reason not to connect the fog light relay wire to the headlamp relay.
  15. Thanks, good info. So doesn’t sound like it was one of the antennas then. I still think it’s somehow related, just not sure how exactly. Could be a coincidence of course but the only two times was immediately after getting tinted. First time got all windows tinted, 2nd time was just Re-tint of windshield which is why I suspected windshield area.
  16. Hey, sorry I don’t have further info on a fix but I do have additional info as of a couple days ago. So up until a couple days ago that one event was the only time it happened, and as I mentioned it went away on its own, never really figured out what happened. Now, a couple days ago I took my truck in the shop to get my windshield RE-tinted as there were some small bubbles that never went away. When I picked the truck back up the remote was acting up again exactly the same as before. Then it clicked, when this happened the first time was when I got so my windows tinted the first time! These are the only two times it has happened. So, I believe maybe some water/liquid maybe got on a sensor or something causing it to act weird. I don’t know what specific sensor or electronics related to the key fob are near/under the windshield but somehow it’s gotta be related. Luckily each time it went away on its own over night which also could make sense if it were a liquid issue (ie fixed itself when it dried) Any chance you were recently doing any similar work with any sprays/liquids? Your situation sounds different than mine but hopefully it will help or that it all fixes itself for you
  17. Big thing comin’ This came today in preparation, these B&W kits are stout! The design is very clean and allows for easy install/storage while keeping clean, I like the little carrying case as well.
  18. Great work! I’m wrapping up my compressor install and this gave me some ideas for my air hose. Loving the photos
  19. Yeah coilover conversions are pricey, but makes sense. I mean coilovers alone are $2k+ and there’s more changes needed than just going from a strut to a coilover. My plan was to stay stock until BDS released a kit but I already had my wheels and tires and really wanted to install them haha. The Readylift was less than $500 and gave me the look I wanted in the meantime. Hoping I can get some of the money back later on, we’ll see.
  20. Yes, a coilover conversion is actually the true end goal, just waiting for BDS to release one haha. I don't think there would be any issues towing, they would design the kit with proper components and spring rate to match the weights needed of these trucks. BDS is a sound company, you can't go wrong with any of their products in my opinion.
  21. Congrats, looks great! Yes I love the height, it’s perfect, I have zero rub as well.
  22. Thanks, it looks like your UCA’s have a little more room to move, you have the rough country 3/1 don’t you?
  23. I took this photo the other day and wanted to post it up for reference. I “think” this is part of the issue I’m experiencing where I mentioned it feels like I have limited travel. Well not an issue per se because I don’t believe it’s an issue with the Readylift kit, I believe it’s just what you get with leveling kits that don’t lengthen the spindle and/or provide better UCA angles with a redesigned UCA. But you can see if the photo how close the UCA is to the stop, this is the truck sitting at a normal stance on flat ground. FYI, this is just what I suspect from visually looking at this. I could be completely wrong in my thinking [emoji39] If anyone sees this with a stock truck, post up a photo of how close your UCA is to the drop, it’d be a good comparison
  24. Looking forward to the finished product, and congrats
