  1. That would be a first That I’ve heard of a dealership doing it that way. Can’t hurt either way, the actual fix doesn’t work anyway when done from the outside. Unless you get a new window it seems like
  2. They don’t clean them because you have to rinse them in warm water and let them air dry. That’s just to much time for them. They’ll just try to sell you a new one most of the time. But you only need to clean it every 10k miles. Rinse in warm water, massage the filter and just let it air dry for 2-3 hours and put back on.
  3. Could be the covers for the seatbelts up in the C-pillars. Mine were loose as well as the driver and passengers ones
  4. I would say it’s not anything like GMs problem. The 2019 rams did have an issue with leaking rear windows, and drain plugs not installed correctly for the panoramic sunroofs. But just from scouring all the ram forums the past couple weeks, the amount of complaints is nothing compared to this forum. They came out with a new window, which all the 2020s have and apparently it’s fixed the issue completely and honestly I haven’t seen one complaint for the 20’s
  5. If you push up the headliner , I bet you can see some type of a crack in the corners. More than likely your in for a new window the next time you go in
  6. The hood is debatable in a car wash too. Although I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet but it happened to me. Mine got dented in a car wash from the blowers. Dead center along the crease closer to the window. Although the gmc has a different hood, mine was a TB Silverado
  7. Got 35000, offered 33k first offer. Had 20024 miles on it, paid 46500 for it new. definitely wanted more, but 3 different dealers, same Initial offer. It is a bad time to trade right now but With ram, youre pretty much guaranteed 12% off msrp WITHOUT rebates when looking at rebel and limiteds. And 15% off msrp when looking at bighorns and laramies. In an ideal market I probably could have got 36-36.5k. Its just not gonna happen. With rebates, I got just a hair short of 20% total discount with rebates before trade in. Which I owed 22k on
  8. So far so good with the new vehicle. Every truck manufacture seems to have issues with the rear windows leaking. But not to the extent I’ve seen on this forum with the 19’s. I wonder if the 2020’s are having issues still.
  9. Mine only last 3-4 weeks before it started to leak again , first major rain storm. Went back in , sat for a week waiting for replacement window, and they replaced the window on Thursday, 4/16. Still had water marks but it was from them not cleaning properly which a lot of dealerships don’t know how to do. And the rear c-pillars were loose and headliner made a new rattle. Traded it in for a 2020 ram rebel 4/17 lol
  10. I swear every time I go into the dealership, there’s a new finger print in the headliner lol. I pick my truck up tomorrow with the new window in it so we will see what it looks like now
  11. They use an automotive Headliner spray, last time they did mine they cleaned the stains well but didn’t do the proper techniques to work out the cleaner which caused a stain ring lol
  12. Gm should do there headliners in black, I bet they’d have 90% less leaking window claims......if you can’t see the water stain, is there really one?!
  13. My 2019 TB does it, and the 20’ loaner I’m in now, does it. There just relays cycling on and off. My 15’ never did this, but seems to be standard on these new ones. Prolly a safety to make sure all circuits are closed when the truck turns off
  14. Yea I’ve only seen like 2 people with a solid window complain on the forum, but finding a solid window is almost impossible it seems like.
  15. yea i wont be staying with gm, looks like ram will be getting my business right now. Its sad to, ive had a chevy for every vehicle since i was 16. But they havent figured out the rear window thing and thats concerning
  16. the 2020 rams have my eye. Just got to try and stay away from the panoramic sunroof and the air suspension
  17. My rear window is getting replaced now, went in on 4/06, and still no word when it will be done. They are getting a glass specialist to install rear window, but the second they call me to tell me its done, its going to get traded in. Just don't want to deal with it anymore since people are still getting leaking windows even with a replacement. I drive too many miles and will be out of warranty very soon and don't want to be stuck paying out of pocket later down the road.
  18. Had mine fixed with the sealant “Patch” 2 weeks ago. Already leaking after The first bad thunder storm in Illinois this weekend. Headliner soaked in both corners. Worse then when I brought it in the first time to get fixed. Thinking I’ll need a new headliner as well. Should be fun....
  19. Just found my headliner with water stains!! Built in March 2019, 18k miles on it. Well see how the “fix goes”
  20. do not level a Tb!! To much stress on the ball joints. You need new control arms if you level a TB. You’ll need a kit like this https://www.readylift.com/2-25-front-leveling-kit-w-control-arms-at4-trail-bossgm-1500-truck-2019.html
  21. Most people buy theirs from BDtrims
  22. Finished installing my Gator Fx3 today. My one Black Friday purchase
  23. Got the bed Line-X’d. Came out amazing
  24. Well, found out the CAI tune from gm when you purchase the gm performance CAI, allows you to go well past 100mph..... was still pulling pretty good when I let off. 5.3L
  25. Installed a Dash cam. Always nice to have a little extra security for ones self. It’s a Vava 2k model
