  1. This came today! Will try it out soon.....
  2. Very nice! I'll bet she scoots really well too.
  3. Exactly, I never do the middle. With the limited area around the filter on the 6.2L engine the only real spot is at the bottom where I tried.
  4. Can you give me a brand/part# I can't make out the imprint in the photo.
  5. I'm a 40+ year DIY guy and a Chevy loyal. Seems like every time I purchase a new one and it comes time to change the oil & filter the robot installing the filter must use a jack hammer as they are so damn tight! Well I just attempted to change out my PF63E, which was changed the first time by the dealer (freebie) and the tech that did it must have had training from that robot at the factory. I used my trusty metal strap type wrench and all it did was to start crushing the side of the tinfoil canister. What's the latest and greatest method for removal of this filter from the inconvenient little cubby hole along side of the oil pan?? TIA Sorry for the rant
  6. Your question would probably be better answered in the 2500 forum. (you're in the 1500 forum).
  7. Hopefully they will scope the cylinder to make sure there is no damage.
  8. Going thru the rear glass for the headliner is going need some real care and expertise without damaging it. Be sure to check everything including all the plastic trim pieces (as some installers seem to scratch them badly) when you go to pick it up.
  9. Just another item on the list of things China is screwing us over!
  10. I did not connect to update and it is recommended to disconnect the negative terminal. Mine was disconnected for about 20 minutes for the install.
  11. Did they get you a loaner?
  12. Not for me. What was the cel you received?
  13. I'd leave it with the dealership and have them get you into a rental until they fix it.
  14. Powrteq is what Edge Products told me and no gotchas for me in my 4 months using it.
  15. Did the dealer do the crooked install? Hopefully you can get a competent glass company to do it correctly.
  16. You'll also need a $600 HUD windshield.
  17. No you don't "have to", but it's highly recommended so that you don't give them a reason to blame a problem on it. Yes throttle response is cool as it sounds, but it all depends on what you think is cool.
  18. OMG, get it washed ASAP!! Nice looking truck!
  19. You're gonna love it. Many more things it can do for sure! I've had mine for several months now. Awesome piece of tech.
