  1. Oh yes, there are "many" of them out there these days!!!
  2. Enjoy it and you'll never get tired of the 6.2 power!!
  3. Good idea, but where are you going to get gas for it? (Current administration will be getting rid of oil/gas)
  4. UPDATE: After a lot of searching and comparing I made the purchase. I checked with my local Chevrolet dealer (what a joke price wise). Checked GM's website (what a ripoff). Checked with James Black Cadillac (good deal). Lastly I found Knapp Chevrolet Buick Motors (great deal and great customer service). Purchased the GMEPP (Platinum). Pricing varies with the particular vehicle, miles, deductible and how many years you want. I never used to purchase an extended warranty until my 2014 Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax 4X4 because of all the associated equipment and electronics. Then purchased my current 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 4X4 with all the associated equipment and a boatload of electronics. If I ever have an issue with any component, this plan will pay for itself.
  5. I know there was a topic about this subject that people posted several suggestions/experiences on this, but I can't locate it. Anyone know where it is? If not, please post some "good" places / dealers etc. here. Thanks!
  6. If this were my truck, I would run it until it gave me the message of ****** amount miles until speed limited (limp mode) then take it to my dealer.
  7. Yes, it's normal. Lot's more electronics in these new trucks.
  8. Why is it amazing, GM has done nothing to fix the design flaw.
  9. Yes, it's a good idea so that they can't blame any problems you may have on the Pulsar LT.
  10. GM will have the option someday, probably take them 2-3 years before they do!
  11. Truck is lookin' good and you'll love that Pulsar LT with all the settings it has for sure!
  12. Yes, there is a For Sale/wanted section in the Marketplace located here: https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/forum/14-for-salewanted/
  13. It would be nice to share with your fellow truck enthusiasts your findings, so they know how to do the same task.
  14. Welcome to GM-Trucks forum! As a former Duramax 2500 owner (2004 & 2014) it does sounds as though you may have a bad battery. Did you have both batteries load tested? Yes, it is recommended to replace both of them at the same time.
  15. I've had my Edge Products Pulsar LT for 4+ months now and my truck can sit untouched for up to two weeks with no issues of any battery drain.
  16. In addition to the above, why not just call Crutchfield and ask them?
  17. Welcome to the forum Eric. Sorry to hear of your issue with the 6.2L. When you mentioned the bent "rod" are you speaking of a piston rod or a pushrod? BTW, you'll really like the Pulsar LT.
