  1. @Gangly as to why you let it go for soooo long?
  2. Did you use an genuine GM part for the ambient sensor or aftermarket?
  3. Have you checked for trouble codes yet?
  4. Yes, it has been discussed at length in more than one post w/photos.
  5. OMG, 96k miles (really)?
  6. I see you're new here and posting this same BS everywhere. Not a good thing to do IMO and not everyone lives in CA (thank goodness).
  7. Very nice looking! Nice doggy too!
  8. Yep, 110% GM floor mats as they are far superior to WT and Husky liners. Period
  9. I could easily drive down to your place and you could install them on my truck!
  10. Oh man, your neighbors are gonna love ya (if you have any close by).
  11. Try searching the forum, someone here has done this by disconnecting it.
  12. Yea, the search function here is not the greatest. First thing I would do is clear the codes, then pull your negative battery lead from the battery and wait for at least an hour for for all residual power to go away. Then re-connect and see if it helps. I do recall other posts that are fairly similar to your situation.
  13. Welcome to the forum. You could do some reading on the numerous posts on this subject, it may help you to determine what you to do and save yourself some money possibly.
  14. Congrats on the purchase. Now let's see some pics!
  15. Drew, you've been here long enough to know there have been multiple posts on this subject. Anyway, the one that is most commonly mentioned is Laura Chevrolet, Buick, GMC.
  16. You'd probably get better responses over in the correct forum (HD).
  17. Man I love that color!! Welcome & Congrats on that truck!! How many miles? If you've only had it a few days, give it a few hundred miles for the tranny to learn your driving habits. If it still sucks, take it to your dealer to get fixed.
  18. UPDATE: Looks as though GM now has a "new" improved part for this issue! https://gmauthority.com/blog/2023/02/heres-why-your-chevy-silverado-1500-may-have-a-front-axle-clicking-noise/
  19. Who or what has been sitting/laying there?
