  1. Maybe it lowers the clock speed of the CPU if overheating was causing the smoke. If I saw smoke I'd have them replace the radio period. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Just checked and the update is available for my truck now. I'm going to update after I get to work in the morning. Hopefully I can stop unpairing and repairing my phone every other drive. [emoji120] Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  3. I have. I've actually done it twice. Same result. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. My phone always asks me for messages permission when it connects though. The strange thing is sometimes my phone will say "myChevrolet has rejected the pairing" or something like that and it also won't show up in the previously paired bluetooth devices list when it does that. I'm not sure if it's the phone or the truck. I've had this phone (pixel 3 xl) for around a year and I never had issues with it before but who knows. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  4. I have trouble with my phone connecting to the truck. It says no phone connected in the DIC, connect phone in the phone app, and when you go to phones it says my phone is connected for incoming calls only. It's 50/50 whether I'm able to actually place or receive a call when driving. Also, android auto works fine and can place a call but it goes to the phone and not the truck. It's frustrating as heck especially because if we have our phone in our hand we can get a ticket. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  5. That's crazy. I wonder why yours is farther back and it still catches. Maybe the covers aren't the same length? Also, the cover isn't actually touching the window. I was trying to show where the weather stripping on the bottom of the back rail was in relation to the back of the bed. It honestly took me 4 times of taking it off and shifting it back before it wouldn't catch. That absolutely drove me crazy because the tailgate release is cool but it's also really handy.
  6. Move the rails closer to the cab of the truck. Here's some pictures with measurements to help you out. My tailgate opens just fine and water doesn't really get in with them placed here. Hope this helps!
