  1. If we just have plain side mirrors without power folding or blind spot monitoring could we swap them? Assuming we would have to get out and adjust the mirrors by hand of course. Not like I really adjust them all that often anyway. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Mine pops multiple times a trip but I just figure it's the roof expanding/contracting in the Georgia heat. It doesn't really bother me. However, one time it sounded like something slid from the front to the back. My girlfriend was in the car and thought I hit something but there wasn't any damage to the truck so I have no clue what it was. Unless I see any kind of problem coming from the pop I'm not going to have it checked out. TBH I don't want anyone mucking around with my truck other than me unless it's for required service. 3. To me the midnight looks exactly like my black RST only it has the trail boss lift and tires. Is there really any difference other than that (appearance wise)? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  4. I just want to say that Southtowne Chevrolet in Newnan, GA did me right. I bought my RST (crew cab all-star) in June. The price was 38K on the internet. Called the dealership and told them I was interested. They had it right up front when I got there to test drive it and I paid that same internet price with no pressure. MSRP was ~$52,500. Extremely happy with my purchase although I wish I had the extra cameras to help with parking. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  5. I know it's off topic but that's a really good picture. That truck looks really good with the grass and everything reflecting off it. Good job keeping it clean. I have the same color and I swear it rains every time I wash it. Literally washed it last Friday, went inside to shower, got out of the shower, and it was pouring. That's a really clean looking truck! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  6. Have you considered wrapping it instead of painting or ordering new parts? It may be cheaper that way and still give you the desired result. Not sure if there's an exact match for that color blue but it still might be worth looking into. Also, love that color. I bought a black Silverado but my first vehicle was a dark blue 95 Silverado back in the day. Congrats on the new truck! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  7. How difficult is it to install and remove from the bed? I have a soft tonneau cover but I've been considering getting this or a hard tonneau so I can put some of my tools in the back of my truck and not worry about them being stolen.
  8. Now that I have the upgrade I have another question. Does anyone else have an issue with the DIC not showing the correct lanes to be in? The nav screen on the infotainment is correct but not the DIC. I've attached some pictures showing what I'm talking about. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks for taking the time to explain it for me! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  10. I actually just ordered the card last week and getting it programmed this week. When you say replace the OnStar nav does that mean I won't get turn by turn from OnStar anymore? If so, can I just switch to the safety package from them instead of the $35 one (I understand I will lose remote key fob)? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  11. I'd like to add the cameras too but it's probably not worth the expense. I came from a Kia Sorento (had a 95 Silverado back in 08) and I still haven't adjusted to the size of the truck. Can't seem to pull into a parking spot without having to back up and straighten up. [emoji23][emoji2371] Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  12. Have to agree with this one. I've never owned a vehicle that is as comfortable to drive as this truck. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  13. I think some off-road companies offer financing so that makes it easier. I was considering getting a 4" BDS lift on mine but went to Atlanta today and had to park in one of the decks. I barely clear the signs and stuff inside the parking deck as it is now. They look really good lifted but it would make finding parking a much bigger challenge. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Maybe it lowers the clock speed of the CPU if overheating was causing the smoke. If I saw smoke I'd have them replace the radio period. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Just checked and the update is available for my truck now. I'm going to update after I get to work in the morning. Hopefully I can stop unpairing and repairing my phone every other drive. [emoji120] Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
